Anyone who knows anything about photography, especially nude photography, has heard about Ron Harris. Harris is an award-winning photographer whose pictures have been seen in leading fashion magazines and commercial advertisements for the last 40 years.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Harris’ work, enter Harris-Archives.com. The website, an archival portfolio of the work of Harris, highlights his work in a series of high-resolution pictures. They are organized in month and year and also by model in said series, all in thumbnails. The photos are precision quality and members have the opportunity to download the sets in 2000X1333 resolution while having the ability to view them in 800X600, 1200X800 and 2000X1333 resolution. All pictures load quickly and all, no matter what size you’re viewing them, are perfect.

What I like about the site is, although it contains nudity, Harris-Archives.com keeps the site classy and erotic. They are tasteful nudes. Think old-school Playboy. Harris makes nudity beautiful to look at and also gives introductions to a few of the sets. From what his original idea was for the shoot and his commentary for the production of the photos, Harris shows why he’s been successful in the business for such a long time.

There is also a section that gives photographers tips on how to take great photos, either for personal satisfaction or for professional improvement, even going as far as giving the exact equipment he uses, which by the way is a Canon D20 digital camera with a Metz flash. One may think he’s helping his competitors but, having the experience and credentials that Harris has, I’m certain he’s not worried. He has plenty of testimonials and reviews to back him up, calling him"internationally renowned" and a "celebrated American photographer."

Harris-Archives.com was founded in November 2003. Aside from photo sets, it also gives background information on Harris and his upcoming projects with Playboy television. The site, with the slogan "thousands of nude photos of amateur young girls," has plenty of photos but also includes sets with porn stars such as Jessie Capelli.

I gave the site a 5 rating because the pictures are perfect, they load quickly, and for what the site is set out to do, it captures the imagination of Ron Harris, giving members an inside look at his life and work.
