If there was a dance to demonstrate my excitement at waiting for the Joque Harness to arrive, I sure did it! Informing my friends that the harness was on its way to me to review, they were either green with envy or sending me congratulatory messages. You see, it’s not every day that a femme like me who is considered a “fat bottom girl” gets to find a harness that fits!
I don’t even want to relive what I had to go through in searching for a harness that fits, works and doesn’t chafe! It really has been a terrible experience until Joque. Made of black spandex mesh and polyester, the harness is pretty easy to get on and adjust as needed. There are Velcro straps on either side to help adjust at the waist, but that’s not the only adjustment area for the waist. Once you get the harness on, there is a strap on either end that you pull to adjust to make the fit snugger if you need to.
There are also two more straps that go under your butt and around your thigh, and the center of the harness where your dildo or vibrator would go. There are no places where the material of the harness feels rough or painful. The center of the harness, where you can get creative with choosing from several colors that are offered, mine is a lilac purple, is where the toy will fit. It’s a very soft and silky texture and is in the form of a pouch. You’ll also see a round opening where the dildo can fit. This opening is about 1 inch wide and it stretches to accommodate various sizes and shapes of toys.
The pouch where your toy fits also has enough fabric to cover up the end of the toy that is against the body of the wearer. Some folks may like this as there may not be added friction or if you start to get sweaty or wet the moisture will not stick to you and the toy because the fabric can absorb it. There is also enough space in the pouch for a toy with attachments or testicles to bit as well. So, not only can you use this for sex play, but you can also use it for packing purposes.
When you find a harness that works like this, actually using it is super enjoyable! Not only can you choose which toy you want to use, but you can also have the option of using several of them, one for your and one for your partner as your entire vulva is not covered when you put the harness on. We started off a bit on the smaller tip to see how things would work out, and to see how much heavier it would feel as we went up in size of the toy.
We quickly decided it was in our best interest to swap the smaller toy for something larger. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that wearing a heavier dildo did not make the harness sag or have it move in ways that did not give me, the wearer pleasure. I had a lot more control over what I wanted to do with my hips and body because I knew the harness was going to stay put. There wasn’t any fear of how messy our sex got because I knew I could easily put the harness in the washing machine, and there wouldn’t be that potent smell of leather-meets-bodily fluids that is common with leather harnesses.
The pouch with the dildo of our choice was the perfect spot as my clit got all sorts of action and I could feel when my partner also pushed against me, so we both got pleasure. There’s enough room for you to also put a bullet or other small vibrating toy to get additional stimulation, but for me the thrusting action was more than enough! It’s rare to get that sensation and be able to focus on other parts of your or your partner’s body.
Having the Joque harness gave me the opportunity to really do more with my hands because I wasn’t busy adjusting the straps or worrying about the toy falling or moving. I love this harness so much I even slept in it the first night, you know for easy access. Now I’m the jealous one because I want to see if I have more fun as the wearer or as the recipient.
