You’ve got to clean your toys. There is no way around this fact. If you want to keep them just to yourself or share them with someone else, you must clean and disinfect them. This is not to create another item for your “to do list”; rather, it’s to keep you able to use them over and over without complication and it lengthens the usability of the toy.
Adam & Eve have created an all-material friendly toy cleaner. The cleaner comes in a sealed plastic clear container with an easy to use one-pump dispenser. For what is comparable to a gallon of gas these days, you’ll receive 4.3 fl oz. of colorless, odorless solution that will keep your toys and your work on cleaning them to a minimum.
Once I pulled the strong plastic seal off the pump, it only took me four or five pumps to get the solution out. This is great because I’ve had some pumps that you have to pump almost 15 times before the solution will spray out! The first thing I noticed was that it is clear, odorless and comes out like a mist. This is great news because many toy cleaners (even some forms of mild soap) has a fragrance to it which means there could be something you may be allergic to in the solution.
The directions advise you to spray directly onto the toy, but I opted for spraying it onto a sturdy paper towel and applying it to the toy. I was happy to see that with just one pump the mist omitted is almost enough for a good portion of medium-sized toys (think anal beads, small dildos, bullets, attachments, etc.). Plus, it does not leave a stain/spot when drying on fabric, sheets, or other areas. I did not try it on all my sex toys to see if as advertised it is good for all sex toy materials. Either way, this is fabulous.
Don’t have an idea of where to start to clean your toys, here are some tips: First, make sure the toy is turned off, it is unplugged, and/or the batteries are taken out. Second, if you remove batteries make sure to secure the cap/lock/closure again before cleaning, this way you do not get any liquid in that area which may ruin the toy. Third, you can either choose to spray directly onto the toy, or spray onto clean paper towel, napkin and/or towel. Fourth, using whatever items you have (paper towel, napkin, or towel) begin to rub the solution around the toy.
Be sure to remember areas with grooves, curves, indentations, and other spaces around the textured areas of the toy. You may need to repeat this until the toy is completely in contact with the solution. Finally, moisten with water a clean towel, napkin or paper towel and rub it around the toy as a final cleaning. Let the toy dry and then keep in a safe place in room temperature. EssentialsToyCleaner
