There have been many iterations of the martini, made crazier by the increasing looseness of the word “martini.” Once upon a time, a martini was made with lots of gin, little vermouth and a few olives. This definition has eroded, and now anything goes.
Have you ever had a grape martini? Unless you live in my neighborhood, probably not. Grape martinis are easy to make. They go down far too easily, making them perfect for parties. Easy to make? No doubt. Follow the bouncing ball, Gump.
Ingredients:
1 part Ciroc vodka
1 part Welch’s white grape juice
Grape sugar for the rim of your glass
This drink will be a hit. Hardcore drinkers won’t notice it, and the lightweights will thank you for it—as they come over to the dark side!
