 You ever watch one of those kooky (from an outsider's perspective) Japanese TV shows readily available on Google Video or YouTube? If you have and recall that overwhelming feeling of "I don't get it," then you know what to expect from UnseenJapan.com. It's true to that nation's entertainment vibe, offering colorful and creative combinations of age-inappropriate costumes with definitively adult interactions and implements. However, it may represent that unusual flair for the unusual perhaps too well, and in the process will likely have trouble capturing a wider audience.
 It's not from a lack of trying, though. The site layout and text are simple and well executed, light on the typos and even lighter on broken translations. You've got links right at the top for pics, movies and stories, and you can search by categories within a genre, like upload date, title or votes within Hentai, Japanese, Hidden Camera, and Schoolgirl videos. File details are listed right at the top of the page you download them from, and everything you take is yours to keep. No streaming here!
 The photo galleries vary in size and quality, typically depending on age (newer is bigger and better). There aren't any zip archives to download, which is odd considering all the other options for viewing photos, including slideshows, galleries and Flash tours. As is common with this subset of the porn world, frequently any blatant view of genitalia is blurred out. The Hentai page is listed, but there's no content in there yet. On the other hand, there are non-Asian women hosted here, too, giving a bit more appeal to a wider audience and some variety. Is it necessary? No, but it doesn't get in the way of the site's overall theme.
 Most of the video files come in wmv and mpg formats, but avi and a couple others make appearance here and there. What this means for the user is that they not only have to have the codec pack featured on the site to ensure compatibility for playback, but they also will be getting a wide variety of file sizes and qualities. There's only one version of any given file, but from one to the next you might go from HD resolutions to tiny thumbnail-sized videos. File sizes represent this as well. Much of the Hentai weighed in at only 80-250MB per clip, while the live-action stuff breaks the scale somewhere between 700MB-1.5GB per video. Got hard drive space? At least they warn you up front about how big the file you're getting is going to be. And again, it bears mentioning that this site is geared more towards someone who likes watching a girl getting banged while dressed up as bunny or a Power Ranger than the casual viewer's tastes.
 The site is a little light on the extras, but it really is something for fans of genuine Asian banging. They claim to have the biggest collection of this sorta stuff anywhere on the 'net, and while I can't verify the claim, I can say that it'll be a while before you get bored here. Lots to do and look at, and while the one-week trial price is a little steep, you probably already know if this is your idea of paradise or not.
