While UberBelle.com is sexy, don't mistake it for a "sex" site. There is no sex. There are no men, no girl-on-girl, no masturbation, no dildos. That's not the point here. This is a site for people who admire the beauty, curves, and flesh of the human form without all the sticky juices marring the experience. Purists, rejoice.
The photo shoots—-all available in low, medium, and high res—-take place indoors, in apartments or homes, in quiet surroundings. It's not about exhibitionism; it's about expression. These models don't disrobe in a moving car tearing down Route 66 or strip and jump into the fountain at a hotel in Cancun on Spring Break. They will, however, get naked and slink around on a bare dining room table, highlighting the shadowy contrast of mahogany against alabaster skin. The girls here aren't all about giving you the seductive "come hither" look. It's almost voyeuristic in nature on the part of the viewer.
So the prospect of a site about models not spending an hour washing their tits in the shower may be a turn-off for some. Fine. This site isn't for you. It knows what it's about, sticks to one idea instead of trying to be a Jane-of-all-trades, and nails it. Works for me.
Those of you still reading this must wonder what you're getting for your dollar here. The site has been around since about August 2005 and has managed to post a new photo shoot every day since then, each set composed of 40+ photos. Many of them aren't strip-oriented, either. What I mean is that the first third of the shoot will be pics of a young lady wearing a dress or something, striking various poses, and then all of a sudden the pics from there on are nudes. Watching her take her clothes off may be more alluring to some, but somehow it made sense to me here. These girls aren't teasing you. It's a before-after scenario, where they more or less say, "Here's my body; think what you like." It brings an air of confidence and credibility to what I'm seeing. It makes it palpable in a girl-next-door kind of way.
Keeping with that theme, only a few of the girls are very well-endowed. You'd better like them small and all-natural. Also, while there's not a huge selection of models (usually five or so per month, with a little overlap), the ones you see are everyday girls, not porn stars. In fact, UberBelle.com has a casting page where anyone can try out to become a Belle on the site. They get their girls from the real world, not the runways. Again, it adds to the feeling of accessibility of the girls. You could bump into one of them at the grocery store. It really is a salute to the everyday girl, not the plastic pinups we hold in perhaps too high regard that make real girls feel like they'll never be good enough.
This is a site about photos, and take that literally. There are no videos, behind-the-scenes footage, or anything like that. This is one of the few ways that a site like PureBeautyMag.com edges ahead slightly. Still, UberBelle.com is a young site (about four months old, whereas PBM is about four years old) and is committed to regular updates and quality content. They've got a solid foundation to build on, and as popularity grows and they try some new things, I expect things to keep getting better.
