 Typically, I bristle at porn franchises as the multitasking involved with multigenral adult content usually backfires in the form of generic site architectures and inappropriate fetish material erroneously available to members who have paid for one thing and gotten another. (Generic examples would be something along the lines of lesbian videos on a bear site or gay leather daddies making an appearance on a mainstream straight site.) It happens and it happens very often when a network of sites is involved, but this is not the case with NextDoorBuddies.com, despite the advertisements for NextDoorMale.com, NextDoorHookups.com, NextDoorPass.com, TommyDXXX.com, and StrokeThatDick.com on the homepage. Rather than being obnoxiously templated, the Next Door series has the look and feel of a new brand (a fine line, for sure, but well executed in this case via Next Door Studios and Gamma Entertainment).
 Videos are formatted for streaming via both Windows Media and QuickTime and for high and low bandwidths and videos can also be downloaded as QuickTime movies. There are currently just over six pages of clips to choose from with between 12 and 26 scenarios to choose from per page. The men range in age from 18 to 35, but the majority of these Next Door Buddies are in their early to mid-20s with very fit, but not overly developed, muscular bodies.
 The aesthetic is generally collegiate, soccer rather than football, but there are some tattooed bad boys thrown into this mix of all American males. There is a surprising amount of full-on fucking on a site that advertises “sexy young straight, bi, and amateur studs in hot action” as this typically entails an awkward bodybuilder pulling his pud on a dirty couch in front of some straight porn that is looping somewhere off camera, and there is an element of this on NextDoorBuddies.com but it is most definitely not the norm.
 The galleries feature hundreds of ultra crisp shots in sets that can be viewed as slideshows as well. The photos are mostly stills from the video shoots, but capture a lot of the raw emotion on the faces of some of these men getting penetrated for (what could be) the first time. If a particular jock catches your eye, there is actually a section for viewer requests where members can pitch a scenario for one or more of the men for an upcoming shoot to be featured on the site or can make a similar request for “private request projects” that will not be for public consumption via NextDoorBuddies.com. (“Your own custom adult video!”) The Video Store also sells full-length DVDs from across the various Next Door lines. A must for men who appreciate muscular young men who may, or may not, straddle the fence between straight and gay, but who ride it hard nonetheless when the camera puts the focus on their fine physiques.
