 It
would be a gross assumption for me to say that amateur is dying (and
many fellow pervs would shout me down), but it’s definitely changing.
When I first fell in love with the genre in the early nineties, it
was still in its pimply adolescence. While I loved seeing performers
that looked like myself and my friends fucking in their bedroom or
backyard, the film quality was awful, the camerawork looked like the
Blair Witch Project, and the sound? Forget it. If I wanted to see
some reality sex, I had to take the good with the bad.
 Amateur’s
come a long way, baby. mysextour.com is a wonderfully well-done site. The website design is clean and
intelligent, and free from popups and typical bait-and-switch promises
of nonexistent material. Content is laid out exactly where you expect
it and the focus is on the features, not on bonus sites and superfluous
movies. The pictures in each girl’s gallery are crystal clear and
well staged. The video camera is wielded professionally with attention
to proper angles, and - thank you, Lord! - both the male and the
female performers are hot. The girls are young and fresh and the
guys are fit. The male actors (likely because some are European
themselves?) don’t shave their equipment, sparing this grateful
reviewer another glimpse of the “peeled shellfish” look so popular
in porn these days. Movies are broken up into sequences for easy
viewing directly from the site. (There’s an option to download,
but you’re gonna have to pay.) Not once did I have problems with
playback.
 The
site’s angle is a little classier than the average amateur random
hook-up fantasy. The fact that the sex trip is taken through Europe
gives it a veneer of sophistication and sets up your expectations
for exotic women and the language barrier fantasy. (Why aren’t the
girls browsable by country?) Skip the first set of clips in each
movie, though, as the scene setup goes on far too long. The male
actors, while attractive, are irritating as hell. It can be hot
to incorporate the smug frat boy act into your sexual fantasies,
but I swear to God, just one more high-five, just one more thumbs
up, and I would’ve dropped the rating a star. Shut the hell up and
mind your fucking, boys. The earliest movies are from the North
American leg of the tour, and pale in comparison to the newer ones.
The photography quality isn’t as high and the performers aren’t
as attractive (and the guys are twice as annoying). “Dumb bitch”
comments are frequent enough to go over my comfort line for dirty
talk, again especially in the North American sequences.
 Those
few complaints aside, though, I’ve definitely paid much more for
much poorer content during my smut-surfing history. It’s a real
pleasure to access a site with such attractive actors and without
the usual technical problems. Other sites should step up to the
plate and take careful note of what mysextour.com is doing right.
