 It was the naughty-but-nice style of Bettie Page as she donned leather corsets and playfully posed with riding crops, ropes and ball-gags that set precedence for much of the bondage-type photography we see mimicked today. Behind Page’s pouting was the naïve notion that she was playing dress-up in costumes that wouldn’t and shouldn’t be considered obscene by mainstream audiences during the early days of skin-mags and 8mm "Stag" loops. Erotica has come a long way since then, with many elements of bondage/domination commonly found in commercial fashion designs and as themes in video games, novels, and Hollywood films. It can almost be considered, in a sense, under-the-radar acceptable.
 MeanBitches.com (without a nod to Page) is a site that sets out to put a modern twist on the types of photo collections that Ms. Page appeared in, by using a number of well-known porn starlets as subjects in BDSM situations. Proving that not only are these ladies well versed in their craft, but are impressively versatile when it comes to experimenting with more experimental themes than your run-of-the-mill tits n’ ass and suck n’ fuck pictorials.
 With an authentic-looking sense of deadpan disciplinarianism, currently beloved “bitches” Ariel X, Carmella Bing, Flower Tucci, Tiffany Mynx, Nicki Hunter, Angelica Sin, Brittney Skye, Teri Weigel, Vanessa Blue, Stephanie Swift, and plenty of others, all don the title of “Mistress” in a large assortment of variously sized, high-quality photos entitled: “Mean Scenes.” It’s here that you’ll find a rotating group of guys (and a girl) serving their masters with plenty of foot worshipping and face sitting that quickly morphs into lengthy bouts of labia-licking. Other than some solo dildo diddling and a strap-on exhibition featuring one gentleman’s bottom, there are no penetrating coital occurrences occurring here.
 The basically bleak basement, living room, prison cell, and dungeon sets adequately serve their purpose, but it’s each of these extremely sexy girls that stand out—aggressively playing their roles without breaking character, and making the “mean” seem believable.  Rather than extreme or hardcore, many of these clips and pics come across as funny skits, especially when you flip through one of a balding elderly man being forced by Porsche Lynn to wear a teddy and a bad brunette wig while kneeling to literally kiss his Mistress’ ass, or another with a wheelchair bound, neck brace and cast-clad “gimp” having a foot stuck into his mouth, as he hams up his alleged injuries with painfully funny grimaces of pain. MeanBitches.com offers an interesting opportunity to see some of your favorite ladies flexing their comedic chops while convincingly chopping down the egos of many a male suitor. Easy to navigate, it also provides viewers who may be skeptical about witnessing more intense forms of humiliation and domination role playing, a venue in which to see many well-done examples of the genres that are lighthearted yet still manage not to stray too far from their niche’s leashes.
