I know how Alice felt when she fell down the rabbit hole.
A visit to www.ironcocks.com is a visit to a world where nothing
seems to make sense – up is down, black is white and old is
suddenly brand spankin’ new again. And worst of all, from
behind every nook and cranny, you’ll find something to distract
you (and not in a good way) taking you off your path.
 The
website is riddled with flaws, most of them having to do with site
navigation. However, the most glaring problem is overwhelming and
repetitive site content. If I’m going to dig $39.95 out of
my wallet, then you better give me something I’ve never seen
before. Ironcocks.com fails to do this.
I spent several hours here trying to weave my way around the site;
I had a great deal of trouble figuring out exactly what the homepage
was. The webmaster wants to send you down other rabbit holes to
other lands and other places. And all this Alice wanted was a few
stiff and steely “iron” cocks!
 I
was never sure where I was going to end up when I clicked on a picture
of a guy I wanted to see more of. Most times another window would
open and the URL would change. Once in this new place, the content
seemed old to me so I’d end up trying to find my way back
to the homepage without so much as a breadcrumb to get me there.
 Good
luck if you are simply looking to download a few moving clips. I
clicked where I found the word “movies” and 20 more
rabbit holes appeared. Photo sets were easier to find, but navigation
again becomes an issue.
Even the toolbar was confusing to an experienced web surfer like
me.
Alice was one tired and cranky bitch at the end of the road. And
to the folks at www.ironcocks. com, I have only this to say: “Off
with your heads!”
