Silvercash, the makers of this and many other fine porn sites, specializes in the niche market, and I’ve often heard it said that there’s a market for any kink you can think up. With IndiaUncovered, they appear to have found the exception to that rule.

While the creators of the site can be excused for not knowing any more about geography than the average American, allow me to assure you, dear reader, that India is not in fact part of the Middle East. It is separated from the Middle East by the better part of a continent, and an even wider cultural divide.

Something India and the Middle East have in common is the great geographic and cultural distance separating them both from the world of commercial American pornography.

The real problem here is not whether or not the women on the site are Indian versus Middle Eastern. don’t plan to start holding my adult entertainment accountable to academic standards of historical accuracy. The issue is whether the women being unveiled are from India at all, as opposed to say, New Jersey.

The genre specific content on the site is just incredibly thin, bordering on non-existent. There is not one video featuring a real or purported Indian woman. There are a handful of photo galleries featuring women who might be of South Asian descent (though they just as easily might be brunettes in heavy makeup), and who are definitely amateurs. None of them are exceptionally attractive by conventional standards, nor do they cater to my personal taste. The photos, with one exception, are not particularly hardcore. In some of them, the women do not even take off all their clothes. In one, titled something charmingly smutty like “Dildo Party”, a single woman holds a dildo in her left hand and looks at it curiously, never bringing it near her body.

There really is a shortage of Indian women in the world, thanks to an unfortunate juxtaposition of modern prenatal screening and age-old cultural preference for male children. In some provinces, the birth rate for male children is as high as 70%. Given that, and the cultural tradition of female modesty, it may be that the makers of these films were unable to find a single actress from one of the poorest countries in the world who was willing to appear in a sexually explicit film. But doubt it. My suspicion is that they simply didn’t try very hard.

The site worked fine, and granted access to all of Silvercash’s other sites, some of which are quite good. But if you’re going to spend the money for a membership, I’d put it toward another of their sites. Subscribing to this one will only encourage them.
