 This is another one of those mixed-bag sites where there is something worth seeing, but something about the design or execution seriously holds back an otherwise successful endeavor. On one hand, you get full-length videos straight from the other side of the Pacific with attractive Asian girls taking on one or more guys. Many roll from credits to credits, available in two resolutions (good and better), also weighing in at big and bigger (anywhere from 200MB up to 1GB). You find a lot of standards here, from oral to doggie to cowgirl to missionary. Occasionally, some bondage or other implements come into play, but it doesn't go too gonzo. In every case, everyone's having a great time, no doubt about that. Condoms also play a role pretty often, whether it's for oral or intercourse. Sorry butt-fans…no anal.
 You do get a clear view of the action, though, as the site's big claim to fame is straight Asian sex without the infamous mosaic blocking your view. There are a handful of Hentai movies as well, all of which look and play just fine, also mosaic-free. No subs or dubs though, which will surely delight purists. A couple other nice touches are being able to search by actress or studio, and the option to display the site in English or Japanese language. The updates are dated as well, showing that new content goes up every day. Good for everyone!
 That said, all is not shiny and happy at AV9898.com. There are some major areas for concern. For one, the site behaves differently with different pages in different browsers, and for no discernable reason. In Firefox, several videos (at least one-third of the site) try to kick open in Windows Media Player immediately, refusing to play at all and prompting an error reading "The source filter for this file could not be loaded." Windows help suggests a fix for viewing pre-recorded television, but it's not the problem at hand. Queuing up some of the same clips in Internet Explorer plays that scene, but may or may not play the next.
 Second, get ready to do some work before you can view anything. The videos that actually do work come in chunks as compressed .rar files. This means you have to get a .rar file decompressor and reassembler that will rebuild the video file from the component files you must download all of to get any results. This is where logic flies out the window. It'd take just as long and use as much bandwidth to download the movie straight up, and involve a lot less work and knowledge on the consumer's end. Third, there is no pictures section. There are a dozen or so thumbnails snapped from the selected video, but you can't make them bigger or get a better look at the action. It's all about the videos, be aware.
 What works here is good, but what doesn't work is really frustrating, and the webmasters behind AV9898.com need to task over the failings of the site. If you'd pay for a car with only two-thirds of an engine in it, then welcome home. For the rest of us, give them some time to fix the site, then maybe try them again.
