A writing team (Julia Ann and Steven St. Croix) are under the gun trying to meet the deadline to turn in their latest sexy manuscript. According to Ann, the only thing missing from this piece of erotic literature are the sex scenes. With less than a day to complete their book, can they create some carnal fantasies that can jump off the page with lust and passion, all the while fighting the temptation of falling for each other?
The always lovely Julia Ann and the charismatic Steven St. Croix do a bang-up job of selling the idea of professional writers under both deadline and mutual attraction pressures on a very eventful afternoon. Try as they might to stay focused on the task at hand, creating sex scenes for their novel, circumstances keep coming up that attempt to derail their progress.
Chief among these distractions is Julia Ann’s friend Jennifer (Jessica Drake) whose boyfriend has just cheated on her. Seeking solace at Ann’s home, she at first seen as an obstacle to the writing process that needs to be overcome. However, this quickly changes as Jennifer provides St. Croix with the inspiration for a steamy girl–girl scene in which Ann eats out Jessica Drake in a way that only another woman can, or would know how to. Gentlemen, we should all take very detailed notes from Prof. Julia Ann during her lesson in muff-diving as she shows the world how to really go downtown on a pussy. Jessica Drake was in genuine ecstasy during this sequence.
Early on in the movie, during the first sex scene in fact, nubile Kelly Kline, with help from Alex Sanders, engages in a poolside fucking that really injects new life into the often over-used scenario of the hot lonely housewife and hunky pool-boy/gardener. This scene starts out well enough with a decent titty licking and pussy eating on the part of Sanders. But it really comes to life when Kline grabs a hold of his dick in her mouth. Her masterful use of tongue techniques is enough to make you want to replay this section more than a few times. Thank goodness DVDs don’t wear out like VHS tapes. This hot sucking and fucking action, in conjunction with Kline’s sultry voice ordering that Sanders do her well if he wants to keep his job, is a pure joy to watch.
Jessica Drake and Eric Masterson have some fun in the bathroom as Jennifer (Drake), the jilted girl from earlier whose boyfriend is sleeping around, and the pizza delivery guy with a bladder control problem. Their scene is well executed and makes good use of the bathroom surroundings. Masterson himself does a great job of fucking her from behind like a runaway jackhammer and Drake takes it like a pro.
One of the highlights of this film has to be the appearance of the always sexy Devon Michaels. Her scene with St. Croix, which takes place on the hood of a Dodge Neon, is by far the second hottest scene on this movie. Michaels manages to flex her very fit body into positions that amaze and arouse simultaneously. Her special talents with a dick are very much on display here as she sucks St. Croix off with a care and passion rarely seen in adult cinema. St. Croix does his part by working his meaty member around between her lips.
As I stated earlier, Devon Michael’s appearance, while fantastic, is only but a very close second to the climactic scene between Julia Ann and Steven St. Croix. When these two finally do give into their sexual desires for one another it is surprisingly sensual on top of being balls-to-the-wall wild.
Ann takes charge at the beginning of this scene, straddling St. Croix and letting him know that she’s ready to be taken, and he doesn’t disappoint her. The two of them perform like a well-oiled machine with all pistons firing. Julia Ann works St. Croix’s manhood like a master while St. Croix works his magic on every inch of her supple body. When he finally unloads on her, it is a massive explosion that spreads all over her stomach and chests.
All in all, I have to say that this movie is a keeper. Very few adult movies bother anymore to mix an actual engaging plot and storyline with hot erotic action. And while these sex scene-driven movies have their own charm, it’s good to see that the art of storytelling hasn’t been completely abandoned by the industry. Writer’s Block certainly fits this mold of adult fare and my jimmy hat is off to them for that. Writer'sBlock
