They don’t build them any better than Mercedez. She’s my favorite performer and, in my opinion, everything about her is perfect: Latin, long dark brown hair, voluptuous body, tons of sexual energy and appeal. She does anal, lesbianism, and by porn standards, is a good actress. Mercedez doesn’t just come in for a paycheck; she’s a Vivid girl who exceeds more than expected in each performance.
The setting of VIP 54 is a disco club where there’s a real life fantasy world going on inside. It’s a Vivid feature so that already tells you the production will be superior, the sex will be sensually erotic and nicely choreographed, and the performances first rate. The background music plays an integral role, giving it a nice artistic touch. It’s girls night out and it’s Mercedez’ first time at 54, and she’s shocked but intrigued by the rampant sex occurring in full view. Evan Stone gets Mercedez worked up for her night on the town, and then it’s on.
Nicole Sheridan can’t resist the advances of two horny studs so she simply gives herself to them, engaging in a threesome to the patrons' delight. Mercedez meets up with an equally horny Devon Michaels who talks her into a steamy lesbo romp. Must’ve been what she meant by girls night out. Black is definitely Mercedez’ color and she wears the hell out of her sexy heels, thong and top. Mercedez appears more comfortable having sex with girls and there’s no question Mercedez was enjoying having Devon’s equally voluptuous body all over her.
Kelli Tyler can’t get enough of the boy toy she picked up and together they have terrific sexual chemistry. This is definitely my favorite non-Mercedez scene; the lighting gives this scene a late night-feel, which is nice. As things start winding down at 54, a lonely Mercedez is taken care of by the bartender, who serves her one incredible ride, much to Mercedez’ satisfaction.
Chi Chi Larue directs the best Vivid release of the year, an outstanding feature that keeps you wanting to see more Mercedez. Not that there’s a lack of her. At just over 90 minutes, it’s never dull or repetitive.
Unlike other big budget features, there’s no overextended dialogue, no pretension, it just goes for the action. The DVD extras are all about Mercedez, including three additional scenes from her previous movies for Vivid, plus alternate angles, galleries including Mercedez’ own gallery, and plenty of interesting behind the scenes shots.
Mercedez has all the qualities of a Vivid girl and then some, and her performances are always spectacular. If you haven’t treated yourself to picking up a Vivid title featuring Mercedez, don’t wait any longer. You’ll want to keep VIP 54 within reach. VIP54
