You don’t see a lot of plot-based adult films in today’s market. Because of this fact, the few that come out usually stand out in one way or another. Veronica’s Game by Wicked Pictures made itself quite noticeable in our opinion. The film stars Lauren Phoenix and Felix Vicious, and we have to say that viewing this film, got both of us quite aroused. Director Jim Enright did one hell of a job with choreographing the sex scenes and they are guaranteed to get anyone with a pulse worked up.
The basic plot has Phoenix playing Veronica Malone, a up-and-coming feminist author who is trying to garner publicity for her new novel: Men: Just for Fucking. To do this, she needs the help of one of the best media journalists in the business: Josh Love (played by Randy Spears). However, Love is a notorious womanizer and has little to no respect for Lake or any woman as a serious subject for one of his articles. From there, the movie moves along with Veronica and her manager (played by the always hot Aria) trying to bring Love to heel and the sexcapades that happen along the way.
One of the hottest scenes in the film has Phoenix and Talon in a scene on a balcony. Talon arrives and says, “Hi. My name is…” Then Phoenix grabs him by the tie and says, “No names.” And then kisses the hell out of him. She’s wearing this neon orange bra, panty and garter set that looks just amazing on her, especially the way that the garter belt straps frames her wonderful ass. From there, it’s just one hot-as-all-hell scene.
Another good scene has Aria and Dale DaBone getting busy on top of a bar. Aria is always a joy to watch for both of us, especially because she’s a squirter and seeing that is something that just turns both of us on to no end. Jade also enjoyed the scene because DaBone is a rather attractive fellow.
There were two turn-offs regarding Veronica’s Game. The score/soundtrack was too intrusive. The music in an adult film should either be easily ignored or conducive to the mood. In this film, it did more to just get on your nerves than anything else. Jade brought up the other issue: she felt that while Randy Spears did a great job of acting in the film, he wasn’t attractive to her and more, he didn’t seem attractive enough to have all of those women fussing and feuding over him.
Taking all these things into consideration, we’re giving Veronica’s Game four-and-a-half stars. This is one that should be in any adult film fan’s collection. The DVD extras include a bonus sex scene with Phoenix and Talon and some other goodies from Wicked Pictures. The film is well-worth the money and has a very high replay value. Veronica'sGame
