Let me state this from the beginning Twin Devils is a solid film. It's a great alternative for men who like Eastern European studs that don't look like twinks. Devils is filled with muscular, masculine men who look like they're just as comfortable playing soccer as they are getting fucked up the ass. The film has a thin as air plot. James Riviera plays the boss of a Chippendales tour group. When his car breaks down he has it towed to a garage where he encounters Fernando Nielsen whom he knows will make a terrific addition to his troupe. He approaches Nielsen with the proposition of joining his group of dancers. Of course, there's an audition.
The audition includes Riviera, Nielsen, Marc Bloom as well as the Lacroix twins, James and Jack who must be extremely popular since I've seen them on a multitude of covers not just the one for this film. The Lacroix twins do not steal the scene, because Nielsen does a great job of displaying that a muscular man can do as good a job at bottoming as a twink can, but they do tend to draw the attention of the viewer, because they are identical even down to their tattoos.
Giovanni Floretto and Julian Vincenzo play Nielsen's fellow mechanic who try to talk him out of becoming a Chippendale dancer, but when reason falls on deaf ears they have sex instead. These men are über-masculine. I would expect to see guys like them fixing cars in a garage. They aren't pretty boys, they have hard good looks. I was quite pleased to watch Vincenzo plow Floretto in a variety of positions among all those tools and thing-a-ma-jigs that mechanics use.
The main problem I have with this film is that there's a level of raunchiness that none of the scenes seem to go beyond. There's one rimjob throughout this entire film and it's not even authentic. Jose Ganetti may be flipping his tongue close to Chris Youngman's hole, but he sure isn't rimming it. Kiss, suck, maybe finger pop, fuck is the diagram all the scenes follow. The scenes are so well scripted that I never get a sense of spontaneity, which usually gives me a hint that the guys are truly into what they are doing. Also, could someone get a blowjob coach over to Europe to teach these guys that a blowjob usually include sucking more than just the head of the penis?
With everything I just said, if you like Eastern European men or just muscular men in general this film is definitely for you. Some people are more into the guys who are having sex than the actual sex, so hot guys having any sort of sex if enough to satisfy them. If you belong in this category, you will enjoy this movie.
