Be careful Hollywood, porno may be taking over. To Die For is an arousing watch packed with a spider-web plotline, scintillating sex scenes, mystery, suspense and one hell of a moonlit bedroom affair between Austin Kincaid and Manuel Ferrara. In the spirit of Hollywood movies like Closer, Paul Thomas rises above the best directing this big name and budget feature along with the film’s writers Raven Touchstone and Dean Nash who created intriguing characters and a sexy storyline.
The basic premise of the film is the present moment in the lives of Peter and Suzy Kelly (Tommy Gunn and Austin Kincaid). The amorous married couple has just purchased property that they intend on turning into a nightclub. They also have new neighbors Vicki and John played by Monique Alexander and Manuel Ferrara. Haley Paige plays Carissa, Suzy’s assistant and Kurt Lockwood plays her fiancé David who have just reunited for the wedding.
Best scene by far is the end bedroom sex scene between John and Suzy. This night scene is excellent due to the fact that the moonlight from outside is the only light used in the scene. The slightly illuminated setting is perfect for the tryst between the two characters. Paul Thomas and Manuel Ferrara provides us a lovely moonlit pussy eating shot, Austin Kincaid pulls off a delectable blowjob and you won’t miss Manuel Ferrara putting Kincaid’s knees to her chest to get a little pounding action.
Monique Alexander and Tommy Gunn deliver a sensuous sex scene in her boat. The two rekindle old feelings through a blowjob, a little vaginal penetration and a reverse cowgirl on the bed below deck. Kurt Lockwood gets dirty with the seductress, Liza Harper, down the street, while pledging his love for Carissa.
Thomas plants teaser sex scenes throughout the film, prepping you for the longer, juicier sex scene each character has with another character during the course of the film. The teaser scenes do the job as I was trying to pair which characters were going to have sex. The film is overall well-acted and the dialogue draws you in leaving you no time to realize you’re watching a porno until the steam begins to rise at which point I started screaming “Yes! Yes!”
The DVD box cover art is detailed, every image tied into the premise of the film. The music is original and well-suited. The DVD menu includes the Vivid standard, positions room, photo gallery, titled scene selection B-T-S, and more adult fun. To Die For is a must watch for those of you who are into plot driven, suspense films. Buy it just to watch the scene between Austin Kincaid and Manuel Ferrara.
