I had always enjoyed Janine’s lesbo romps in various Vivid compilations videos, but I had never actually seen her in a full-length feature. I know this much about her -- she’s one of the best, sexiest babes ever in adult and even after 12 years she can still hold her own in the looks department with any newbie.
Since the tattoos don’t really do it for me, I just focused on Janine’s pretty face and toned body. The rest of the gals are also knockouts, and I was eager to see Janine all over them. Whoever the director of photography and cinematography were on this film should be given an award as it is a very well made visual feature. The editing and Paul Thomas’ direction were also superb. If you’re going to purchase a DVD based on its aesthetic quality, this is a keeper. If it’s more about the sex and performances, read on.
The mini orgy scene that takes place in the very beginning is pretty steaming and here you see Janine taking cock for the first time on film in years. When it’s over, Janine takes a ride down to a private Villa to concentrate on her writing. But the constant distractions, each of a sexual nature, don’t make Janine’s stay any more relaxing or productive.
I actually enjoyed watching this DVD all the way through. It’s an intriguing story that will keep you interested, with lots of hot erotic sex and good acting, and the entire production value was excellent to say the least. You’ll be surprised by how much you enjoyed the plot, as well.
The film moves slowly at times, but the steamy sex scenes make the wait a bit more worthwhile. I’m glad Janine is back and being more adventurous with her sex scenes. But she can still make a lesbo scene just as hot as any you’ll see in any gonzo.
I recommend skipping the extras, which I wasn’t too impressed with. But do check out the Janine compilations, including a scene that stars Raquel Darien. This is certainly one of the best Vivid releases -- don’t be surprised if The Villa earns multiple nominations in the performance and technical categories at various adult award ceremonies next year. It’s an enjoyable DVD that deserves to be honored. TheVilla(Vivid)
