British comedian Ricky Gervais has seen his seminal sitcom, The Office, translated into no less than seven international versions – including Steve Carrell’s highly regarded American one. Yet the rotund Ricky probably never anticipated a pornographic parody of his creation – which is exactly what the wags at New Sensations have come up with.

You can tell that somebody’s paid a lot of attention to making this pastiche work; right from the moment the opening credits open. Office XXX features eerily similar music and substitutes the Los Angeles suburbs for the drab vista of Scranton, Pa.

Office XXX sees beautiful blonde Ashlynn Brooke fill the role formerly occupied by Steve Carrell. As a blustering, brash boss, she mimics Carrell’s character pretty nicely, despite the change in gender. As expected from the feckless boss, it’s one of her contrived cock-ups that sets the movie’s pornographic plotline into motion.

Not that there’s much of a plotline. Office XXX is mainly about giving the good-looking cast an excuse to engage in some sizzlingly explicit sex – but that doesn’t matter.

By the time you’ve seen Ashlynn in a steamy threeway, watched Gianna and Faye Reagan writhe right on the office floor and then witnessed Jenna Haze give a delicious, drooling blowjob, whatever the plot was supposed to be about (sexual harassment training, I think) will be the last thing on your mind.

The sex is great, filmed with high production values and featuring a cast of prolific porn stars who clearly know what they’re doing. There’s plenty of variety, too. Most of my kinks are catered to and I have a particular fondness for watching Jenna Haze in action. She’s so pretty – ‘too pretty to do porn,’ they say – which makes seeing her fuck, suck and get splattered with cum feel deliciously dirty.

The Office: An XXX Parody doesn’t scrimp on special features, either. In fact, it comes as part of a two-disc set, featuring a whole DVD crammed with trailers, bonus scenes and a behind the scenes feature which makes you realize that quite a lot of time, effort and thought went into what many people might dismiss as just ‘another porno parody.’

It’s nice to see that many of the stars of Office XXX are fans of the original show – and during one interview, Ashlynn Brooke mentions how she hopes the cast of the NBC sitcom will watch her version of it. If they do, they’re unlikely to be disappointed.
