Vivid-Alt director Winkytiki is a filmmaker in every aspect of the term. Here’s a guy who has taken the B-movie biker flicks of the 50s and 60s and meshed them together to create one super-sexy blast to the past. The Bad Luck Betties are downtown LA’s most fierce gang of ex-models turned bikers (and they’ve got badass names like Napalm Suzy and Hellen Heels). When the girls find out that a new freeway is being built right in the middle of their turf, they decide to raise some hell—Bettie-style!

One of the hottest (and most visually artistic) scenes is the threesome between Mika Tan, John West, and Cheyne Collins. The boys play a couple of G.I’s visiting a local brothel to solicit Mika Tan for some sucky sucky, love you long time. The brilliance of this scene is the setting and tone. I’ve never been to a brothel before (a boy can dream) but I can only imagine that it looks as seductive and mysterious as Winkytiki makes it out to be in this scene. As always, Mika looks stunning and she works the hell out of our soldiers with some kickass anal and DP work. 

The other scene that really captured the feel of this flick is scene two between Paige and Mary Jane. Here, it’s all about the girls looking like models straight out of a Bettie Page pin-up. The long dark hair, classic bangs, and old-school garters bring us young ones back to a time when women were naturally beautiful and freaks under the sheets. The girls wrestle around (clothed, which actually adds a thrill) before they get down to the business of tasting each other’s sweet pussies. The action here is not that hardcore; rather, all of the other elements are what adds the flame to the fire.

The final scene between Pinky and Alec is a nice closer for a few reasons. First, Pinky is a cute little blonde who really knows how to handle some man meat. She and Alec go missionary for the first half before allowing him to take her anally toward the end in both missionary spoon and doggy style. Second, Alec’s character is the seedy pimp turned mayor who screwed over the Betties in the first place.  fter Pinky infiltrates his office (and him), the Betties come in to finish the job. 

The Bad Luck Betties is one of the most visual entertaining adult films I have seen in a long time. Mainstream movie and porno fans alike will really appreciate this flick for what it is: homage to the B-movie biker flicks of the 50s and 60s, with an adult twist. Winkytiki is the epitome of an alt-porn director; he knows it’s not just the actors who matter, it’s about style and presentation as well.
