Gorgeous European girls (with eyes from heaven!), DP’s in almost every scene, and a couple of twists make this movie a good showing. The ice skating scene is just not something you see every day in porn – if this is your fetish, there’s pants-staining a-coming. Black-haired Maika opens the scene innocently enough, skating on an empty rink in a pretty red dress. You know those bits where the skater glides on one leg and lifts the other one high? Yeah… After showing some smooth sluttiness on skates, Maika loses the panties and does a few more leg lifts to show off her nicely shaved mound. Soon enough, two gentlemen arrive on the rink for a little flirtatious company. The sex is all you usually seen onscreen plus... well, skates. No overt S&M here, but man do those blades come close to the skin sometimes. If your wet dream is a model of figure skating grace masking a ravenous sexual animal that it takes at least two to satisfy, you might want to buy a spare copy of the DVD as insurance against anything happening to the first one. The other novelty is the two photo shoots. What Pierre Woodman does here is have someone go around with a video camera during his Hustler photo shoots. The result is pretty cool. Especially in the second shoot involving two couples, there’s a great sense of on set fun, and a very different rhythm from more standard porn scenes – adding a nice variety to the movie. In addition to the joking and fooling around, the second scene also includes footage of the make-up girls (there’s a great bit when one of them is doing touch-ups on a performer’s ass). It’s not often in porn that you see hot chicks who don’t strip, and it is refreshing in a strange way. Try Raw Footage if you want an American variant on trying to catch the atmosphere around the porn industry. The very first scene involves the stunning, braided Mandy – the girl in the middle on the cover. I’m not sure she did the right thing in choosing porn over mainstream modeling, but, God, I can't really complain; it is so nice to see a girl who's beautiful enough to be put on ten-foot posters getting it on. Nika might be the best example of the beautiful eyes that are everywhere in this movie, but she takes too long to take a very unsexy bathrobe off in her 4-way scene. In the next scene, with Barbara, the setup involves two “absolute strangers” who meet on some bench, chat about the weather, then go home to fuck – it was like watching every dream I've had while sitting next to a pretty stranger come true. Barbara, not conventionally attractive, pulls the scene off well and her tiny build compared to that of the male star added to the scene. The last five-minute masturbation scene is a total waste, unless you have a fetish for overturned wooden boats. Extras: deplorable, except for an excellent chapter finding scene, which actually names all the positions and acts (“oral and spoon,” “posing and BJ,” etc) for each chapter you can search – an absolutely fantastic way to cut to the chase. Woodman tends to use amateurs for his work, and all the best parts of this approach are evident here – great enthusiasm (the only time the moaning is muffled is when mouths are too full of dicks), a certain naturalness to the sex and the lack of pretense. The sex is occasionally formulaic, and some parts of the photo shoots drag on, but great energy, the foreign mystique and those eyes are all good reasons to still take this one home. Superfuckers22
