I’ve always wondered what goes on exactly at the Miss Nude Galaxy Contest. It takes more than brains to win the coveted title, and Special Assignment 40 is sort of a behind the scenes reality/documentary of the Miss Nude Galaxy Contest.
Essentially, the DVD is shot home movie-style, in that it’s just a guy with a camera videotaping footage from the event. There are plenty of close-up shots of T&A, and a wide variety of girls from the exotic to the girl next door. Also on hand is Ron Jeremy emceeing the event.
The girls are the main attraction and each appear to be uninhibited and having a good time working the crowd of chicks with bodies that have seen better days. I dug most of the contestants so it was rather enjoyable to sit through. It seems the girls are strippers who are mainly judged on their pole dancing skills, looks and how much of a rise they can get out of the audience and showing off their killer bodies.
Although there are contestants whose entry is questionable, the DreamGirls team make sure to focus on the fan favorites. And there are plenty of girls worthy of the honor of Miss Nude Galaxy.
There are brief interviews of the girls at certain points and some chitchat, but it’s mainly hot girls dancing or posing or doing some kind of water activity. It gets old after a while and I would’ve liked to have seen more verbal interaction. But hey, it’s still hot chicks spreading eagle willingly for the camera so I can’t knock it too much.
The camerawork is excellent throughout this DVD and the girls featured were the cream of the crop. We’re not told too much about the contest, like where it’s held, or much about the contestants. But if just watching hot chicks roll around nude does it for you, you’ll have a good time. I did, but it did have some rough edges.
I hope DreamGirls smoothes out next time. A little more background on the event and the girls, some extra extras besides a gallery and maybe some info on the front and back cover would be cool. But I like watching hot chicks posing and rolling around nude. If you feel the same way, this assignment won’t so bad to take home.
