Who would have thought that my new favorite director of straight porn would be a gay guy? But gay or straight, Chi Chi La Rue has the magic touch when it comes to making every boy/girl scene he directs spark with intensity. So one of my favorite porn flicks right now, Skin on Skin, is a lot like one of my older favorites, Tera Tera Tera: both feature a sexy brunette introducing the scenes, each of which is based on one of her fantasies—La Rue directed them both. Not sure exactly how he does it, but the settings, the outfits, everything that gives a scene its particular “feel,” makes his movies look great. Strokers who like a little “class” added to the usual suck-and-fuck proceedings should pick this DVD up post haste.
Lanny Barby, she of the Hungarian accent, bedroom eyes and nearly flawless boob job, is the star of the show. Her fantasies include threeways, girl-on-girl and interracial, and that’s what’s featured in this video. Although she doesn appear in every scene, those who do are fantastic performers.
Lanny leads things off with Tommy Gunn. The foreplay is very hot, right down to the thong sticking out of her skirt. I love that look. Her perfect legs, adorned with a pair of stylish high heels, were a huge turn on for me as she gets off on Tommy licking her. The lusty and aggressive blowjob she gives him is also great. She mounts him, and he her, and the scene culminates in a weak cumshot that doesn’t quite do justice to the high-pitched eroticism of the rest of the scene.
Tattooed and girlish Texas Presley stars with Lanny in the next scene. Usually I’m not a big fan of girl-girl stuff, but Texas’s cleaned-up-goth-girl look really works for me. And, there’s a lot of chemistry here, so although it didn’t have me reaching for the cleanup sock, the scene keeps things rolling until the next scene, my favorite on the DVD just for the extra-long blowjob segment. Gen Padova—looking like a trashy call girl in a red evening gown and platinum blonde hair—can’t get her black co-star’s cock all the way down her throat, but damn it, she tries- vigorously. A-plus-plus for effort. Plus her ass is just big enough, and very round.
The fourth scene, a threeway, highlights something that this DVD does well that so many other pornos seem to get wrong: it provides a little diversity in terms of the starlets. While the girls up until this point had a young, cute look, the women in this scene have the slightly older, more mature thing going on. And while the other scenes are frenetic, this one is all about the slow burn. Gotta have variety. But most importantly, the sex is hot.
The last scene, starring Euro blonde Barbara Summer, may be the weakest in the movie, but it could easily stand out as the best in a weaker DVD. She looks great, but seems to be less into it than the other girls.
Chi Chi’s specialty is to bring out the best of what is possible from a Vivid all-sex feature: the scenes are nasty, and the girls look amazing—it’s that simple. Sounds easy, but like a good piece of pizza, it’s surprising how much can go wrong. So when you find that special formula that works, you tend to keep going back for more, and to recommend it to all your friends. And that’s exactly what I’m doing with Skin on Skin, another Chi Chi La Rue-directed winner. SkinonSkin
