I remain confused about what exactly the title Secret Society means. Is the society in question male homosexuals? And what’s so secret about it, anyway? This movie’s lack of plot doesn’t necessarily interfere with one’s enjoyment of it, but on the off chance that the title and ostensible theme add to the appeal, skip this one, because this is less a film than four discrete sex scenes.
Because the stars are so handsome – I guess Brazilian, based on the barely decipherable language they were speaking and the exotic but not quite identifiable locations – it doesn’t matter that the sex is, frankly, a bit repetitive.
The first scene finds us poolside with two handsome young men sporting those daringly cut swimsuits popular everywhere in the world but the United States. There’s about thirty seconds of playful dialogue and splashing before the couple is making out. The making out lasts but for a moment, then swimsuits are abandoned. There’s something to be said for the sexiness of anticipation, and this movie dispenses of that, assuming that the act of seeing these two get it on is sexy enough. And it is sexy. The scene goes on for some time; some 69-action leads into a condom-less fuck in one position, then another, and then another, and then yet another. Then the partners switch positions, then one stands and one kneels and they jack off on one another.
I recap this play by play because almost the exact same sequence is used in the second scene, in which a swimsuit wearing young man is interrupted as he’s busy washing his car. The only difference here is that there’s a car involved, though if you’re going to bother with the fantasy of getting fucked in the front seat, at least make the car a bit sexier than a red hatchback. This time, there’s a condom but other than that, the progression is basically the same: fucking in a couple of different positions, then the kneeling/standing jack off. Given the broad spectrum of sexual positions and acts, it’s odd that the director would choose this repetition.
The third scene is back poolside, and this one is a bit different. There are still two players wearing those little swimsuits (perhaps the secret society in question is some collegiate swim team?)but this opens with a generously long oral scene. Then there’s the by now familiar fucking in several different positions. Another difference is that the young man getting fucked comes while he’s being rammed(always a nice touch) and the scene ends with a poolside shower, and while it’s satisfying enough, there’s nothing more here than your everyday guy/guy scene.
The fourth and final scene finds a young man wearing – get this! – denim cutoffs. It’s sexy because it’s a change of pace, and because they sit low on his slim frame and he’s going commando underneath. Maybe he’s the gardener, because he seems to be setting up the sprinkler, but it’s not long until he’s down on his knees, interrupted in his work by the arrival of yet another bikini wearing young man. The two trade oral favors, and then, well, they fuck on the lawn, almost like dogs.
This movie is short on variety; there’s not a lot of kissing and if you’re going to escape into the fantasy of a bunch of sexy men fucking outdoors, you might as well throw romance into the picture. The repertoire of the performers is limited, and though few would watch a film like this beginning to end, as I did, they might get bored.
