In Pretty Mess, Director Chi Chi La Rue tries to put forward his notion that girls are a little crazy. And, think about sex ALL day. This one is about girls, and the pretty messes that they are. So, in the movie, what makes Vivid Girl Monique Alexander constitute as a pretty mess? Could it be, she loves girls, orgies, role-playing, asians, foot fetish, porn, and anal? Maybe! This one's a 'best of' variety pack, just a teenie taste of everything that's considered good about Ms. Alexander.
There are five scenes, which each help to sort of explain Monique's perversions. Of the better is "Monique's Magic Dust" which is a girl on girl into male-girl-girl threesome shot in what looks like a backstage dressing room. The scene is glamourous and beautiful, which might remind viewers of 70s classics. The emotion is sensual, flattered by soft tungsten light, glitter floating in the air, and hip groovin' smooth jazz.
Other scenes include Asians with Caucasians, Forkin' in the Fifties, Toilet Paper Penetration, and Theater Threesome. Three out of four offer a different perspective on anal. Is anal good with fluorescent fishnet wearing Asians who are dancing to surf-rockabilly groove? Or, is anal better on a kitchen table during 1950-something, while you wear an argyle sweater, checker print slacks, and red-hair, respectively? Maybe anal is best when you're in a bathroom that is lit up like a 1990s rave, and has toilet paper hanging from the ceiling. Who can tell? Anal, is this the pretty mess?
The last scene is very simple, and something everyone can appreciate. It is group-sex shot against a red velvet background. It is quite nice to see the actors breeze through sexual positions like a time-based guide book. The director leaves us by presenting sex as a grand artform, which is nice after all the cutesy anal stuff.
Overall on the plus sides: epic cum shots, the repeated theme of two girls on either side of one cock, serious electro-porn-groove soundtrack, and, best of all, NO dialouge, except for hits like, "What is that in your pants? Is that for me?"
On screen, star of the film Monique Alexander just looks hot, but behind the scenes, she seems like a pretty radical lady. She describes herself as uber-independant, and finds herself not guilty of using her "super girl powers." Some of the DVD extras include behind the scenes footage, still movie photos, and Vivid Girl extras. Word up to the DVD motion graphics and digital layout. PrettyMess
