After my disappointment with another Anarchy Films video, I wasn’t expecting much from this one. I’m happy to say that Pop That Cherry 5 is much better. For starters, the copy on the box is spelled right, a sign that production wasn't rushed and that they were willing to put the effort in for their this flagship series.

The basic format of the film is a series of scenes involving young women paired with older men. Each segment is one-on-one, with a good mix of oral and standard action, with some anal tossed in for good measure. The settings don’t vary much, moving once from the couch to the bedroom. The lighting changes and different throws are used on the couch to doctor it up a little between scenes. The characters are all dressed like they spent their last paycheck at the Pacific Sunwear store in the mall. On the thirtysomething men, the mall look is incongruous.

The women tend to look the same, but that’s okay because that look is hot. Angela Stone plays a sassy blond in the opening segment. The director knows the best features of each girl, and keeps the camera on Angela’s ass when he can. After Angela finishes her work on the sofa, Nikki shows up to break it in herself.

Both Nikki and Angela are said to be starring in their first scenes in this video. Nikki runs through the gamut of positions, although she needs to express herself more through her face, especially when you compare her to Alexis and Sally Rodeo, who are both enjoyable to watch and clearly taking pleasure from their performances.

As seems to be the case in compilations like this, the middle segments are the least interesting. Alexis’s partner has bruised legs that turned me off, and while Capri has a good body, she kind of lays there at first not doing much. Eventually she gets into the swing of it and the segment picks up. Hers is the only anal scene in the film, and it’s well-shot. Her oral scenes are better than some of the others thanks to some close-ups.

Ms. Rodeo’s segment is the standout of the film. Again, the director keeps the camera focused on her backside, which itself may be the best in the movie. She’s the most vocal of the women and draws her scene out switching between positions again and again. Not that I’m complaining. She doesn’t seem to tire easily.

Overall, while there’s nothing really special about this, unless you’re a fan of the series or one of the performers. But there’s nothing shabby about it that would lead me to warn you off. It’s a solid effort, well-photographed and professionally made. I'm looking forward to other entries in this series. The DVD features a photo gallery, trailers, and a behind the scenes feature.
