Amateur porn certainly has its ups and downs. When observing this genre, the viewer is usually treated to the sight of your everyday girl who performs just as naturally on camera as she would in her private life. Generally speaking, it’s this element that usually adds to a film’s overall appeal. As you may have guessed, because of the level of uncertainty that goes with any amateur performance, things can quickly take a disappointing turn for the worst. The latter is definitely the case with Shag Manila’s Philippine Teen 2, a film that was shot on location in the Philippine Islands.
The action on this DVD is fairly bland and in almost every scene the inexperience possessed by the featured score of starlets is clearly evident. At times I was almost convinced that these girls have had zero experience in the bedroom, which spurred several awkward moments and a lot of odd staring into the camera lens.
The first scene features the busty Maryanne. She and her partner immediately fly through a long list of positions before Maryanne receives a hot load of cum all over her tits and neck. What killed this performance was the starlet’s inability to display even the slightest bit of emotion. The whole time she’s getting fucked she’s completely stone-faced and doesn’t make a peep. This only strengthened the notion that she simply wasn’t enjoying herself and felt incredibly awkward being filmed.
Next we have Vena, who when presented with a penis decides to stare at it perplexed, as if it were the world’s toughest math problem. After a begrudging blowjob and some missionary, she too receives a pop shot on her chest while angling her head backwards to make sure that her leading man’s cum doesn’t reach her face. Meanwhile, the mug of our third girl, Kathy, is seen adorned with moles and together with her lack of enthusiasm this vignette is definitely worth skipping over.
The last scenes featuring Rochelle and Amanda serve as the films only redeeming elements. Both of these girls are incredibly attractive, endowed with large natural breasts and possess the characteristics needed to warrant careers in mainstream porn. Rochelle is first interviewed with a handy cam and admits to being an 18-year-old college student before her pussy is thoroughly explored by her eager partner. Amanda’s performance showcases her love for dick gobbling and after a little doggie and cowgirl screwing she willingly accepts a facial cumshot, the only one in the film, I might add.
Despite the two killer scenes found towards the end of the presentation, Philippine Teen 2 was a below-average film with more flaws than perks. The director’s inclusion of elevator music during the sex scenes and his choice of a horrible looping acoustic number in the film’s opening menu, really helped to downgrade the film’s overall value and appeal.
