Nacho Vidal has quickly ascended from cock-for-hire to one of the co-captains steering the European gonzo film craze as director, producer, and actor. His latest film, Ass Obsession, helps to further fortify his reputation as champion of Euro porn, featuring an array of shy girls limited to one or two lines of dialogue each, a bare-minimum plot, and of course, a king’s ransom worth of anal sex.

The film opens with young, blonde Ellen Saint, having just been dropped off by her boyfriend into the awaiting clutches of our star. Nacho flirtatiously teases Ellen, asking her why her boyfriend would allow her to be alone with, of all people, Nacho Vidal. He coos her into removing her clothes, and proceeds to reward her compliance by happily lapping away at her clit. Nacho acts almost unusually tender with Ms. Saint, and while viewing, one gets the feeling that she just might be the type of girl he could settle down with, maybe start a family. But then of course that daydream is broken up by the two-finger anal probe, and ass to mouth action that ensues.

Scene two brings us a cigarette-smoking Sarah Blue, adorned with state-trooper sunglasses, and an apathetic attitude towards the fucking she receives. Nacho gives her a bit of the deep throat treatment, and lubes her up by way of some romantic projectile spitting on her vagina. Next up is a scene with the only real semblance of a plot, as Nacho and his friend Hugo are boating off the coast of Brazil, and encounter a capsized motorboat, carrying not one, but two hot, tanned brunettes, Barbara and O’Hara. Sadly, this scene is absent any presumed double-penetration, and all we’re left with is some dispassionate anal, and a couple of uninspired cumshots.

Scenes four and five continue with Nacho’s old oral and anal standbys. Nikita, a bespectacled brunette, is sloppily deep-throated until her eye-liner is smeared, giving her a distinct Alice Cooper look. After some anal, she jerks Nacho off to completion, and seems genuinely pleased with her work. Nacho’s massive, veined penis looks more like the stem of an apple as he’s greeted by Katty’s German tank-sized ass in scene five. Curiously, her faced is obscured and digitally distorted throughout their romp, so unfortunately there’s no oral. But that’s compensated for in the form of a comical scene in which Nacho sits, meekly jerking off, as Katty backs up her ample, pimpled rear end, and paints his face with her asshole.

Finally, two “lesbians” are accosted while disembarking a bus, as Nacho creepily mutters “I like your girlfriend.” The dominant of the two girls commands Nacho to take them all back to his apartment, proclaiming “I gonna make you don’t like my girlfriend.” Broken-English aside, the film goes out with a bang, as the final fuckfest is by far the most emotive. Both women seem to enjoy themselves taking turns with Nacho’s cock, which is a welcome deviation from the film's generally vacant and detached feel. Until the salty, sticky end, they moan with what is either true delight, or what could be the porn award-winning equivalent.

Despite Nacho Vidal’s passionate, searing libido, and his penchant for convincing extremely attractive girls to fuck him on film, the womens' repetitive, half-hearted moans and indifference project more effectively (and negatively) on the viewer than the frenetic anal and deep throating. On the technical bright side, the DVD loads quickly and is simple to navigate, and also features the increasingly popular “fetish menu” option, which allows you a condensed look at specific fetishes of your choosing (teasing, oral, anal, etc.), taken straight from the film itself.

For his part, Nacho has produced another title that should do well, thanks in no small part to his name-recognition. But to sustain his success, he may want to try fixating more on the actress attached to the ass with which he finds himself obsessed.
