As a porn reviewer I have the fortunate opportunity to view a good amount of filmed sex, and I have the duty to look at it critically. It isn’t the most glamorous position in the world, but it can be fun at times, and once in a while I’ll have the good fortune to stumble upon something that really catches my attention. “Multiples” is such a film. It is the reward for having to sift through compilation picture after compilation picture starring various hard worn eastern European women. “Multiples” is also a statement picture – it states clearly and as loud as day that Mr. Marcus is a real man among boys in the porn industry.

The premise of “Multiples” is to treat Mr. Marcus with 2 or more women per sex scene in an attempt to raise the sexual heat level a few notches north of the norm. This film stars Mr. Marcus as himself, is produced and directed by him, as well as financed through his own production company Mayhem. I know it is a cliche to say such a thing, but this really is a tour de force performance all the way around.

The concept is not a new one, to be sure, plenty of porn pictures utilize the multiple partner scenario. However, what makes “Multiples” special, and ultimately sets it above the baseline for films such as it, is Mr. Marcus himself. I’m sure most everyone out there reading this has at least a working knowledge of Mr. Marcus, as have I, but never before have I seen him in such a role. “Multiples” lacks a lot of the conceit most pornography has; it doesn’t have fantasy settings, doesn’t try to put you inside of the movie, and it doesn’t make use of fancy camera work and pumped up soundtracks. It’s basically just Mr. Marcus trying his best to turn himself on, and us in the process. It’s a very honest picture with little pretense, and does a lot to humanize and make friendly the everyman- in this case, Mr. Marcus.

Needless to say Mr. Marcus has good taste in the women he lures to his home (by concentrating deeply he wills the “pussy” to come to him) and by all accounts there are 11 such women in this film. Yes, that’s right, eleven women. Not to hype his abilities too much, but one further thing must be mentioned about the performance, and utter porn dominance Mr. Marcus doles out in this film. Most porn scenes end with the obligatory money shot. It is both a conclusion and validation to the entire sex act. Mr. Marcus isn’t satisfied with such a formulaic ending, in most scenes the first cumshot doesn’t even slow him down, he waits for the second one before he puts the scene to bed. Yup that’s right, the second one.

I’m not sure how much more I can say about this picture before I convey the idea that it isn’t your ordinary, run of the mill product, it is something special, a standout among the crowd deserving your attention. Women are always the selling point to any piece of pornography, but here you’ll just have to bank on the extraordinary taste and performance of Mr. Marcus and his near flawless “Multiples.” Multiples
