Lucas On Top is a compilation video of director/porn star Michael Lucas’ most interesting scenes or at least that’s how he describes them. Each scene is preceded by commentary explaining its significance. The scenes are snippets from his feature length films. Most of the scenes are pretty flat, especially since he spends so much of the commentaries building up anticipation for them. The flatness of the scenes are a result of their shortness. For example, you get a bit of Anthony Ferrat rimming Lucas or Lucas and Max Grand fucking but none of the other fun from the scenes and what you do get is too short to satisfy any craving, hell it’s not even enough to start one. This would be okay if there were only one or two scenes like this, but there’s more like ten to eleven. Oddly enough the two scenes that stand out have not been featured in any of his films.

The first scene of interest has Lucas paired up with Aaron Heights. Heights is a ballet dancer who wants to film a scene with Lucas. Apparently this is his first time in a porn. However there’s nothing novice about Heights’ sexual ability. Lucas always gets credit for being a savvy businessman and as a visionary director, but in this scene, what stands out is his superb performing. He knows how to carry a scene, even with a half enthused partner he can make a scene work. With Heights, who is a very enthused partner, Lucas makes this scene boil. He is definitely in control and Heights obediently follows his lead. Heights plays to the camera like a pro. He sucks Lucas slow and steady making Lucas' face curl in pleasure. The assplay is marvelous. Heights takes most of Lucas hand, four fingers to be exact, with sheer delight. Lucas and Heights fuck in a variety of positions, but it’s when Heights rides Lucas that sums up this scene. A sense of intimacy creeps in giving it some dimension. It also shows how much each man is into the sex as well as each other. Don’t worry this intimacy never waters down the raunchiness.

The second scene worth mentioning pairs Lucas with Jackson Price. Lucas is a legendary top and Price is an insatiable bottom. To say this is a great match is absolutely an understatement. This is a match made in heaven. Price has no gag reflex and he displays this frequently taking Lucas to the base. His sexual appetite even seems to outshine Lucas’. Even when Lucas has most of his hand in Price thrusting in and out, Price just wants more. The scene only gets better. Price gets pounded in many positions and loves every one of them. There’s also some fantastic camera work that captures each position from a fine angle. No matter what position they get in the viewer never misses a moment. The sex in this scene is pure carnal lust and it’s great.

The failure of this collection, however, is in the remaining several scenes which lack the punch of the ones described here. Lucas is an outstanding filmmaker, but, there is simply not enough in the other scenes of what we want to see most: his outstanding ability to direct performers into being the best they can be. On the other hand, this collection works as a visual catalogue of things to see that might also pique your interest. Put it on your list if only for that reason.
