"Lair of Sin" doesn’t stretch the boundaries of decency, but it does provide some notable entertainment. Actually, that’s not true. The opening scene is, from what I could gather, a pseudo-necromantic fantasy. Fortunately, it’s a porno and the acting is atrocious, so when Joey Ray fucks Anna Nova’s ass, no one is disgusted. If anything, it’s titillating.

Each scene is a fantasy scene, designed to conjure some image of darkness or impropriety. The first scene, as previously mentioned, is a doctor in a room with a hot, fake-breasted corpse. Images flash through the doctor’s mind of having sex with this lady while she was still alive. The second scene is jailer taking advantage of a female inmate. The third scene is two women having dirty sex, and the fourth scene is a soldier taking advantage of a prisoner. And the final scene is a dominatrix fucking her submissive, even though the dominatrix doesn’t quite dominate the submissive. Unfortunately, there is a thematic inconsistency with the scenes; it's like someone wasn’t totally sure about what the overall goal of the feature should be. Fortunately, it’s porn and as long as the sex is good, thematic inconsistency isn't as big a deal. I only mentioned it because some people can be very picky.

As far as the action is concerned, the first three scenes are very solid, with the final two tapering off a bit. The last two scenes seem to provide the same action that occurred in previous scenes, without the interpretation made by the previous actors. Particularly in the case of the final scene, having a domination-themed scene provided an opportunity for good, unconventional sex. However, the opportunity passed and nothing new happened.

Don’t get me wrong. There are some very high points in the feature, and to the film’s credit, any scene that has to follow the combination of Alicia Rhodes and Jayana Oso has quite a task placed before it. First off, Jayna Oso is quickly becoming one of my favorite porn stars. Not only is her exotic look intoxicating, but she is a hardcore anal slut. As for Alicia Rhodes, I’ve seen her work in other features too, and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a more competent girl. So as you can imagine, putting them together for a girl-girl scene was a stroke of brilliance. Jayna and Alicia were there to fuck each other, and fuck each other they did. They licked each other’s nether regions and fucked each other with a plethora of ass toys, before Jayna unmercifully drilled Alicia’s ass with a strap-on. This was a very, very good, very, very hot scene.

In her jailer-takes-advantage-of-an-inmate scene, Maya Mason turns in a very hot performance. Furthermore, the scene is very ironic in a way: Maya thinks the jailer will set her free if she “acts” like a dirty slut, so if she was doing a bad job of acting in a pornographic sense, you’d never know. That’s what the scene's all about. At any rate, she does a wonderful job of handling an energetic anal scene.

Overall, “Lair of Sin” is a solid movie. However, if you get it, get it because of the scene between Jayna Oso and Alicia Rhodes. The rest of the feature will satisfy, but that one scene will certainly dominate.
