Coming from a watching a string of Joanna Angel productions, though they come from the same studio and supposedly working in the same genre, both directors are miles apart. Where Joanna's films are inherently story-based, politically slanted, and heavily laden with satire of all sorts, the McKai experience is very much a gonzo blitz, with street punk flavor added in. Those going at Kill Girl Kill 3 expecting to see carbon copy antics of the BurningAngel.com vixen will be disappointed. However, let's not detract from the work that's being done here.
There are, obviously, congruencies between these two important players' productions, namely Katrina Kraven and James Deen. Katrina's pairing with self produced alt porn star Rob Rotten gets an 'A' for physicality; he looks like he's been busy taking acting lessons from the highway department's jackhammer unit. Their scene is shot in South Central LA-ish vacant industrial space against dead televisions stacked against the walls and graffitied. Waning sunlight barely squeezes through the plastic venetian blinds as he controts the phenomenally flexible Kraven over, across, and upside down on a visibly worn chair no doubt pilfered from the curb outside just for the occasion. Fully half the time in this scene is devoted to anal penetration, culminating in his magnanimous money shot.
Joanna's angelic ass appears, altruistically at first, only to find herself apprehended by a similarly sadistic James Deen. The placement of nostalgic late 70's period living room furniture into faux foliage for what effect I'm still pondering gives the sequence a certain je ne se quois otherwise unacheivable. Our angel's burning desire for anal sex becomes air apparent from one side of the naugahyde couch to the other just before the most amazing facial.
My personal favorites in this frenetic foray feed my taste for the exotic in the form of Nyomi Zen - a diminutive Asian beauty with a China doll painted face sporting a tutu, saddle shoes, and cotton panties, and Tiger - an amazing cinnamon skinned beauty with some equally beautiful tattoos working their way upwards from her deliciously curvy hips which she uses in a position I can only term 'the flamingo'.
Those loathe to suffer through treatises on the ethicality of the current American enterprise, but enjoy the visual imagery of heavily tattooed, pierced, and stretched street punk fare will definitely appreciate this film's aesthetic. KillGirlKill3
