At first glance, the Julie Simone's Sex Addicts seems like an interesting movie with and independent and female-charged energy. While watching, it seems like a modest production which has been shot in one location with a homemade look. It's one of a kind, that's for sure, whether that's a good or a bad thing can be decided by the viewer.
Lena and Ariel happen to be so addicted to sex that their roommate, Zenova, takes them to a psycho-sex-therapist to exorcise their nasty habits. The psycho-sex-therapist is played by Julie Simone herself, writer and director of the movie. Simone's professional diagnosis is not surprising, knowing her background. The doctor recommends a simulation of good old-fashioned BDSM sessions to overcome the horny-slut behaviors.
One session requires that the sex-obsessed patient be completely restrained on a toilet. With her hands tied behind her back, Dr. Simone drips hot wax all-over the diagnosed slut, starting with her nipples. Instead of screaming in pain, the patient writhes her hips in a circular motion while screaming in pleasure, apparently getting off by the procedure. After several minutes, her body is completely covered in hot red wax, pussy and all.
Out of the two uninhibited lesbians, Ariel's sex obsession turns out the be the nastiest, a case seemingly impossible to diagnose. Even the likes of Dr. Julie Simone can not succumb her nasty mentality. The final scene is infamous in that it's far more hilarious than it is erotic. The scene takes place in a bathroom where two patients are tied up with brightly colored rope. The doctor wears a brightly colored flower-petal bathing cap with a topless black vinyl bathing suit. The doctor dunks Ariel's head underwater, while Lena holds a vibrator to her pussy. The doctor concludes that the vibrator's power is no match for Ariel's sexuality. Together the two continue to dunk and stimulate Ariels' pussy, but it's impossible to exorcise the sexual addiction.
Overall, the comedic undertones come off very strong in this freaky flick. It seems more funny than erotic, and would be recommended to those who like BDSM that’s funny. JulieSimone'sSexAddicts
