Regardless of my thoughts of porn – of which I’m certain I’ll divulge in future reviews – we must talk of the film. As a critic, I had some problems: throughout the movie, the director, an off screen voice that asked stupid questions and made even stupider comments, alternated between being an observer to the action and directly acting in the film, telling the actors what to do. After a while I found the director’s comments during the action, when commentary is absolutely unnecessary, increasingly annoying. I’m not sure about you, but I don’t need to be told when certain sequences are hot and should get me horny. Many of the actors spoke poor English or only spoke in Brazilian Portuguese, which made it difficult to understand when the actors were talking dirty to each other – although during orgasms they spoke the international language of cum. But what I found truly disturbing were the scenes that involved forced, deep-throat blowjobs as various actors and the director chant, “Yeah, choke on that dick!” Pained faces and gagging don’t turn me on, and in fact tend to make me wince (but I am aware that for some of my fellow pornophiles, such things will inevitably turn them on and to each his own). The humiliation scene with Jessica Darlin, Sarah Sin, and Tom Moore became painful to watch as the humiliation suddenly went to an inexplicably sinister mood.

The film was also plagued by a plodding sense of pacing throughout. Each of the scenes felt long and there was this weird sense that a lot of material was cut from the film with the repeated and frequent use of dissolve-and-fade shots. In several scenes, thoughtless editing and the use of such effects erased any sense of context or explanation as to what was going on. In one scene, a couple is outside fooling around by the pool, and then suddenly they’re inside someone’s apartment without the viewer knowing how or why they got there. In many of the threesome scenes, people seem to disappear and reappear for no known reason. Having text float on the screen as a narrative tool to explain certain situations also manages to make the film seem cheaply made.

And yet, despite the flaws within the film, there’s a truly decadent feel. Admittedly, in my mind there’s something terribly exciting about she-males – a certain subversive transgression of normal gender roles. Picture men fucking women who could fuck women and men and you’ll probably see it as being both perverse and extremely hot. Often, it’s so decadent at times that it feels gloriously and classically perverse. The more open-minded pornophiles will find something that will make them incredibly horny in this film.
