I have had the opportunity to review a few films from Puritan in the past, including Fresh Porn Babes #2, and have been pleasantly surprised with the results. Unfortunately, I am disappointed to say Jewel De’Nyle’s Fresh Porn Babes #5 falls a bit short from what I have come to expect thus far. The premise of the movie is as old as the day is long: straight up boy/girl scenes with the freshest faces in porn. The fates of these films rest squarely on the shoulders of the young women featured. In the case of Fresh Porn Babes #5, there is a lot left to be desired. Sabina and Kayla come off very well, and their scenes are the best in the movie, but the rest of the scenes are poor and the women are not very attractive.
Not to hurt the feelings of either Nicoletta and Lisa Lee, but if these faces are considered fresh, Puritan has a bit of a problem on its hands. I understand the pressure Puritan must feel in order to go out and find all the new talent to populate these films, especially when engaged in heated competition with a million and one other production companies out there, but sometimes you can’t pass off a thing for something it is not.
Aside from the above glaring defect in this movie, there are still moments that make it salvageable, not the least of which is the girl/girl scene with Miss Jewel De’Nyle herself. I’m very encouraged that Miss De’Nyle directed this film; the touch of a female director is evident in this movie, and if they would have stayed away from a few of the girls featured I’d be cranking up the star rating significantly.
The bottom line is as follows: take a look at the cover photo, assess for yourself which, if any of these girls you would like to see have sex on film, and you will have your verdict.
