Don’t let the cover art fool you, the Paul Thomas film Janine’s Been Blackmaled is less about Janine being held in bondage by two Black guys and more about Janine being dominating by her submissive husband who just wants a blowjob and having wild sex with two non descript Black men. This film was disappointing in the fact that I was ready to see some bondage and maybe some S&M scenes but there were none. The cover art had me excited. I thought the meat of the movie would show Janine and her Black captives in S&M situations I haven’t seen before. However, this was not the case.
When we see Janine and her black male partners it is in a flashback. The scene itself is decent but Janine looked a little crazy fucking them. She thrashed about, taunted and teased them and looked as if she was in charge not them. The exciting part of this scene is that she maintains dual intercourse, that is, she managed to have sex with both men at the same time consistently.
Janine has a few sex scenes with other men in the film and has only one major sex scene with her husband in the movie, Julian, which became my favorite scene. I finally got to see Julian being sexually aggressive. Apparently, in this film he is supposed to be unable to approach women on his own for sex. The other sex scenes included various other actors in the film and were enjoyable. The scenes were mostly blowjobs and vaginal intercourse with condoms used.
The music was adequate and the actors were attractive. I didn’t think the major actors were into the film themselves except for Janine. It appeared to be Janine and the secondary characters that had the most fun in the film. The film quality was high but the dialogue lacked in important story details. I don’t think I really understood who the Black men were in relation to Janine.
The plot idea was simple and only slightly interesting. However, considering the theme, I couldn't tell if her tryst was a botched kidnapping or if she already knew the Black men from her neighborhood. Most of all the film had no definite conclusion. At the end of the film I felt confused and slightly unsatisfied.
The DVD itself is easy to navigate. There are only a couple of chapters which are numbered. There is a photo gallery of Vivid Girls, web info, a Behind the Scenes feature, bonus clips from other Vivid films as well as trailers for new films. Janine'sBeenBlackmaled
