Let’s face it: The “meet a girl and talk her into fucking on camera” gimmick in porn is just about used up. Series after series, website after website, video after video, it’s the hackneyed theme of meeting someone and then fucking her, usually anally, to the supposed “surprise” of both filmmakers and viewers. Ho hum.
However, the Jack’s Playground series - which by now consists of more than 20 volumes, each new one better than the last - is the type of phony pro-am series that’s so fresh, exciting, and hot that it’s very easy to forget the silly trappings and become an instant fan. That’s partially because this series is so well-lensed and so perfectly, pleasingly horny that’s it’s hard not to get caught up in the pussy-pounding proceedings. In addition, it must be stated that the aesthetic quality of the performers is almost unbelievable. Simply put, the women and men here are so California beautiful that it’s easy to get hot just looking at the box cover.
Another key is the good-natured, upbeat tone of this series. Sex scenes are interwoven with porn comedy that’s actually hilarious, some of it delivered by Montel the Talking Dildo. We won’t give away any of the jokes here in Volume 5, but we can’t think of another porn series that mixes funny with fucking better than Jack’s Playground.
And oh, what fucking there is. Highlights include a steamy masturbation scene featuring blonde dream girl Jana Cova, where every inch of her beyond-perfect body is explored; another semi-masturbation scene with a brunette who doesn’t seem to be billed in the credits; a fucking and facial scene with Tanya James where she proves she’s a porn star with real comedic sensibilities; "real estate" agent Holly Hollywood getting a righteous fucking in one of her own properties; and a two girl-one guy final scene that’s broiling, complete with anal explorations and a refreshing facial finale.
The list of plusses here far outweighs any minuses: No cloying, annoying soundtrack music during the sex scenes. Lengthy, passionate sex scenes. A gorgeous wide-screen format and expertly lensed close-ups. And some of the most beautiful people in porn are included; some are barely out of their teens, others are the cream of fresh porn starlets.
It’s easy to see why the Jack’s Playground series has been the anchor of Digital Playground’s mega-successful video releases during the past couple of years. There’s not much to dislike about Jack, who claims his “Mom & Dad” are the producers of this series. Jack’sPlaygroundVolume5
