I have to admit I have a thing for Lexie Marie. Her luxurious blonde hair and beautifully shaped face just do something for me. Her work for Vivid is usually top notch. She knows how to suck cock, has great gril on girl scenes, and when required can even act. Lexie Marie can make even the most boring of Vivid films enjoyable to watch. Which explains why I was able to sit through Inside Moves.
The basic plot of Inside Moves is that Marie plays a street artist who gets hired by wealthy homeowners in order to spruce up their houses with her art, and uses her sexuality in order to climb the social ladder. She does so in order to show that she is in control of her body and affairs. At least that’s what I got from it. The plot is barely understandable and at times it’s excruciating to watch. Often you wait for a scene to end just so that it will cut into some sexual action.
Director Paul Thomas often tries to bring an arthouse quality to his films. It’s a move that I applaud. The old-school erotic art films are great, but when dealing with the modern porn scene, some techniques may be out of place. After having to deal with ten minutes of boring dialogue, the first sex scene we are given is sped up. The sight of Marie caressing, groping, and sucking on the body of another beautiful woman is a joy to watch anytime. Having it done in fast-motion would have worked as a thrill in a more mainstream film, but in an adult DVD it just becomes a let down. On a side note, in the same scene, Marie seems to be getting it doggy style, but her female lover isn’t wearing a strap-on. I guess Anderson didn’t think anyone would notice since it was sped-up.
Eva Angelina does a fine job as the uber-bitch that discovers Marie. She is cold and domineering and sure to give wimpy guys a hard-on. After having two sped-up scenes with Marie, she finally performs a real lesbian scene with her after some social lubricant. It involves a glass dildo, a rubber strap-on, and cunnilingus. Finally we got some proper action in this film. That seems to be what Angelina’s character was thinking because she loses her bitchy attitude after receiving an orgasm from Marie. Just goes to show you that sex is better when you take your time rather than speeding it up.
From then on in, it’s a series of crazy sex scenes. Angelina, now all happy-go-lucky, decides to take up handyman Kurt Lockwood’s offer for some good old fucking. We are then fortunate to get a rocket fueled threesome featuring Jack Venice and Sativa Rose who has the most juiciest, wettest pussy I have ever scene on film. Apparently at this point in the film, Thomas realized he needed to give the goods because that scene is followed with another sex scene again featuring Lockwood and Rose. The poor guy gets no rest since that scene is followed with another one with Lockwood and this time Marie. Their scene together is the best out of all the others. Lockwood knows how to ram it hard and Marie takes it like a pro.
The film has no real ending, but then it barely had a plot. For the most part the film isn’t that bad. It would have gotten a better rating, but since the director lumped all the action at the end of the film, it was overall, not as satisfying to watch. Lexie Marie fans however, may want this to complete their collection. She, as always, does a fine job. InsideMoves
