It can be said and universally agreed with that life is completely subjective. No two people view any situation equally. A game of hide and seek, innocent fun to some, a game of “Hide and Seek” is an excuse to get naked and lick things for director Hank Hoffman and VIVID pictures. Vivid pictures and Hank Hoffman use a juvenile game as the back drop for adult fun. The result is an interesting mix of sex, sun and straw.

Blonde Vivid girl Monique Alexander acts as hostess to a group of fans competing in a game of “Hide and Seek”; the prize, a night of pleasure with her. Monique and Tiffany Taylor open the films sexfest with a mediocre girl on-girl-scene that incorporates a large purple latex dildo that penetrates Alexander and a multicolored phallic piece that resembles a blown glass tobacco pipe which is inserted into Taylor’s ass. The ladies in this scene lack sexual chemistry, the moves and dialogue are forced, and with the exception of the get wet juice Taylor uses for her booty stimulation and the saliva spat onto genitals that were no doubt drier than the Sahara, there would be no lubrication. These girls are better shopping buddies than chomping buddies.

Tiffany Taylor unintentionally turns scene three of the film into a comedy of errors. She is paired with Jay Huntington an older gent of European decent. The scene takes place under an overpass on rocky terrain. The pair opens the fun with what appears to the viewer as a nice make out session, until Huntington lowers his head to suckle her chest, when we see the semi-horrified Taylor wipe her mouth with the back of her hand repeatedly. We have all unfortunately experienced bad make out session with a slobbery dog, but hey, this is porn, live the fantasy, and for goodness sake respect your elders. The rest of the scene lends itself to some nice moments and the sight of Jay's well preserved butt pumping even when a fly rests on his nutsack is a thumbs up to older men and professional actors everywhere. Bravo, Jay,Bravo.

The most sexually stimulating scene of the film involves a man who always brings the thunder: Tommy Gunn. Gunn the raven haired well gelled sex god who looks likes he smells as good as he feels, always elevates a movie twenty notches. Tommy is paired with English tart Isabel Ice who, upon first glimpse looks like your average girl next door, until her clothes come off and we are privy to her numerous tats and clit piercing. Any woman who is brave enough to have metal pulled through her most sensitive of sensitives is a bad mutha… shut yo mouth! Ice proves her self worthy of the piercing, she swallows Gunns pistol with pizzazz and gives it to him hot and saucy. The pair is well matched and the pacing and energy of the scene are on point.

The problem with Hide and Seek is the follow through and continuity. The contestants engage in adult fun while waiting for Monique Alexander to find them ala the traditional rules of the game hide and seek. The problem is when Monique finds the contestants she disrupts the flow of the sexual activities with a thunderous “Aha” like proclamation which incites non sexual dialogue. This is a directorial misstep, the more exciting choice would have Alexander joining one or two of the scenes or masturbating to the visuals of the contestants fucking.

Another notable no-no was the positioning of footwear throughout the film. Porn is about sex and fantasy, sexy makeup and wardrobe are staples, shoes, particularly stilettos, are pointed porn necessities. With the acknowledgement that this film takes place entirely outdoors, the shoes were a complete distraction. Ugg boots don’t look close to sexy near someone’s ears while they are being penetrated, and lime green Old Navy flip flops are not the equivalent of a 5-inch spike over the knee red patent leather boot. Flip Flops and oven mitt’esque shoes are just not sexy, and if you haven’t heard, sexy is back.

Hide and Seek is a film that on many levels disappoints yet has a relaxed and easy undertone. It is a well-done location film, the director and cinematographer did an excellent job capturing the landscape and though there are directorial missteps the sex is for the most part fun. The DVD menu choices are varied and exciting and there are numerous bonus scenes to choose from if you yearn for more VIVID girl sex.
