Infrequently in my career at the Herald have I graded a movie as all the way at the top, less infrequently has that happened more than once inside the same month, but the two productions that received this rating this month were of such incredible eye-popping vision that I had no other remedy than to let the fives out. What can I say, these guys are good.
The decidedly mentally stimulating material you're privy to here is presented at a premium: you will, of course, suffer from having the delicate bubble of protection around your deepest feelings towards the inner mental workings of women being irreparably shattered. Dana seems to be plagued by a plethora of lovers and infinite time to entertain them, regardless of how many of them believe they are the only men in her life, Riley convinces her live in boyfriend that she has a modeling career, though when she arrives on set, it's
slightly more than clothes that the camera catches, Charlotte plays the part of unabashed prostitute in order to pay for her and her boyfriend's life, and Pixie Pearl tries to tell her current boyfriend that the child is his...
The very disconcerting nature of this film is that the sex work seems very nearly secondary, and could have easily been slightly hinted at, and the overarching slightly disturbing undercurrents of plot would have easily
held and told the story by themselves, perhaps even had a greater chance to blossom into a full blown story, given the appropriate space to breathe. But then you wouldn't get the benefit of being able to see all the hot action. Good Charlotte starts out the film in her tiny one bedroom apartment with William Wood, who may just be competing with John Holmes for most enormous cock on a white boy. Beyond that, perhaps because he is supposed to be playing the lazy beyond words boyfriend, or perhaps because he just simply doesn't believe in giving back to the equation, Charlotte does ALL the work, which, though we sympathize of the story heroine, we are perfectly happy to watch. She could bounce all day on a beach ball and we could never get tired of it.
Quick flash to Dana on a freeway overpass lining up the rest of her encounters for the day, plying her womanly wiles towards the receptor on the other end of the phone: "I know you have a girlfriend, but...", and all that after waking up in the arms of Joey Ray, who allows Dana to indulge her well known foot fetish and even sprinkles her cute painted toes with the evidence of his appreciation. The very next time we see her, she's waking up Scott Nails the way every man in the world dreams about being woken up by a girlfriend dirty enough to think about it. Dana fans will also recognize the pattented eons long anal scene complete with quivering, screaming assgasm typical of such affairs. Dana, we know you have a boyfriend, but...
Riley Mason's scene with Tom Byron is designed to make her look like she's having second thoughts because of what she's told her boyfriend back home, Pixie Pearl's backstage fun with Alex Gonz is exactly what you would expect a tryst in the green room of a club to look like, and when Daniel whisks Charlotte off to a seedy motel room, the palpable reality of a first timer is painfully etched into the digitalia of McKai's camera.
This production is proof positive that the sexual liberation movement has had quite a few successes along the way, and that the current state of 'fidelity' in the new age warrants at least another look, if not a thorough going over because you all know somebody like the characters on this DVD. This movie belongs on your shelf, not because the girls and the sex are hot, but because it's evidence that the porn industry isn't just heading in a new direction, it's all the way there. GirlsLie
