Let me quickly paint a picture of Craven Moorehead for you. His website (CravenMooreheadxxx.com) is all you need to grasp Moorehead's entire pornography philosophy on display. Outwardly, it may seem alternative and violent, but after a detailed examination it is all in jest.

Fucking Hostile starts with visuals similar to the website, Andrew Andretti and Dirty Harry have Melissa Lauren kneeling somewhere in the California desert. Does she have any last requests? Of course, she wants to get fucked. Jump cut to someone's living room where Lauren engages in awkward, faux-violent intercourse.

All the scenes in Fucking Hostile are awkward because of the implied hostility that never really comes (though the male stars come a few times). Actually, this film is comprised of rough sex, quagging (those guttural gags that come with certain deep-throat scenes) and stereotypical misogyny.

The scene between Billy Banks and braces-clad Leah Luv begins with Banks sipping a 40oz. while Luv burns his dinner. He decides that copulation is better than a meal rife with carbon, so they proceed to have sex that manages to stay at one consistent tempo and energy level. They both try to cover up this circus of mediocrity with constant vocalizations: 'Oh God!' and 'Fuck yeah, baby!' abound.

A few of the female stars give fine performances that are just hampered by the style of the sex. Jasmine Byrne handles two guys cock's with ease, managing to turn the tables on them by gagging with pleasure and demanding her way around the action: 'Where's my other cock? Give me my other cock!' Despite some disgusting quagging of the film, this scene should have been used as an archetype for the rest.

Two of my DVSX favorites, Cheyne Collins and Gianna Lynn, share the closing scene and manage to make something out of it. Rather than acting like Collins is brutalizing Lynn, there is a genuinely extreme blow-job sequence where both play their respective roles with vigor. These stars are genuinely talented and are able to transcend the thin concept of the piece.

Not to knock the respective stars of the other scenes, but Fucking Hostile was 50 percent fucking and 50 percent failed concept. Like Moorehead's website, it's difficult to determine if the show you've been promised is supposed to transform into a joke or if something simply went wrong in the 'execution'.
