As they say ‘practice makes perfect’ and when it comes to one of our favorite subjects, sex, a lot of people would love to practice more and not just for the immediate gratification. Some people may be better lovers than others, but most of the time this comes from strong communication and lots of practice (very few are naturally able to adapt and rock the bed no matter what). If you would like to improve your lovemaking skills, then Vivid’s Expert Guide to series is an excellent teacher to learn from. This volume takes us into the fabulous world of oral sex; more precisely cunnilingus.
Cunnilingus is the dictionary term for oral stimulation of a woman, better known as eating out (see you’re learning already). Contrary to what is viewed in adult films or the fantasies you create in your mind, cunnilingus is not as easy or as simple as spreading her legs and diving in with your mouth open. Sexpert Tristan Taormino created this instructional video to portray a relaxed, down to earth approach to the proper techniques and actions necessary to achieve ultimate pleasure from both parties.
From the opening introduction The Expert Guide will immediately put you at ease. The film starts with a brief workshop on female anatomy. The room is filled with average couples, from the young to the old, listening to Justine Joli explain the finer points of the female vagina. After the diagram has been explained, Ariel X comes out to act as a three-dimensional model. Joli runs through various positions for oral sex including doggy style, missionary, or straddling your partner’s face. Once the positions are explained, Joli moves onto basic techniques including how to start things right (a vulva massage) leading up to tongue and mouth movements such as the ice-cream lick and the clit suck. The workshop closes with a brief explanation on using toys during oral.
The next two segments are about couples applying their oral skills. The scenes play out like interviews and all the performers (Kelly and Richard, Cindy and Jack) feel like neighbors or friends from town; you enjoy listening to their thoughts and feel comfortable with what they have to say. Kelly and Richard are up first to show us what they’ve learned. The opening of this segment focuses on teasing your partner, notably on top of her underwear, to start the natural flow of juices. It concludes with techniques and movements while in the sixty-nine position. Cindy and Jack’s scene opens with a demonstration on how to properly shave your partner’s genital area (Jack shaves Cindy). You may not be interested in this act, but it still holds a very strong place in sexual foreplay and can be a major turn on for many people. This scene closes with a brief examination of analingus (or rimming) and the pleasure derived from this act.
The Expert Guide to Oral Sex is also filled with some very nice extras including an oral exchange between Ariel and Justine, a segment on the use of toys, and a segment on the proper use of oral sex contraceptives such as dental dam. You also have the options of viewing the whole film at once, different segments at a time, and you can view each segment with or without the pop-up tips and tricks. Remember: practice makes perfect, and advice is always helpful.
