Deep in Malezia is an excellent example of what’s missing in so many pornographic films produced today. It’s simple, well-produced, titillating and not overly long.

The film is made up of several uninterrupted sex segments, some featuring Malezia, with Malezia, herself giving a brief, tongue-in-cheek narrative before each one, explaining how each applies to her deepest fantasies. From the very beginning, the film sucks its viewers into a relaxing and arousing world of uninhibited sex acts, beginning with a man approaching Malezia in a red light district and offering her $100 to service him.

Neither this scene nor its following scenes give off the hokey, cheap, poorly-acted feel so common in today’s adult films, and the cinematography, background and costuming are done with a sense of realism, but not so real that one cannot appreciate the surreal and unfettered feeling only fantasy can bring. When one watches Malezia climb over her client, with a pair of pink panties pressed tightly against and barely covering her labia, one also cannot help but be impressed with the seamless and sexually powerful qualities of Deep in Malezia.

In the following scene, Malezia shows the audience how best to secure a new position, as she pleasures her female job interviewer. The film then continues on without Malezia for several sequences, (except for the narration), and Malezia’s co-stars prove themselves equally adept at entertaining viewers. Further scenes include a two-female, one-male group sequence in a dank, dungeon-like basement, a quasi-BDSM couple with swings, boards and other fun pieces of furniture, and other random situations. Malezia, of course, returns before the end of the movie.

Each sequence features the requisite acts, e.g., vaginal intercourse, anal sex, oral sex, self-stimulation, strap-ons, dildos, etc. Even in scenes where one character seems to be subservient to the other, such as in the prostitute scene, neither partner is left wanting for stimulation.

As for dialogue, there will be the occasional screamed statement of joy or a command, but the film is silent for the most part, each character seemingly knowing how to best push the other’s buttons. While some more verbally-oriented viewers might dislike this, it makes each sequence more like an actual fantasy, as if you are actually entering Malezia’s head (or perhaps she is entering yours).

The special features are the only predictably blah part of the DVD, with behind-the-scenes featurette, sexual positions montage, photo gallery and Vivid commercials adding very little to the experience. It’s, in fact, a bit annoying that the Vivid commercials begin to play the moment you put the disc in, and you have to speed through them before you can access the DVD menu.)

While the film is perhaps a bit shorter than the average porn flick, (approximately one hour, 45 minutes), you are left feeling very satisfied at the DVD’s conclusion, and Deep in Malezia needn’t drone on with crappy filler present in most adult videos.

Regarding the value of this film, Deep in Malezia is truly for the everyman or everywoman. While it will leave hardcore fans wanting, the average viewer will revel in the varied situations and well-done tried and true positions and techniques wonderfully filmed.

If you’re in the mood for a classic, sex-only masterpiece, devoid of filler, check out Deep in Malezia. While the film doesn’t blaze any new territory, the high quality of the film will leave you wondering, “Who cares,” as you’re transfixed by Malezia’s portrayal of her deepest desires.
