If, like Hollywood, you were taken up by mummy movies a short while ago, or if, like me, you grew up in the goth scene, you will find two of your major fantasies satisfied here. Curse Eternal is a great synergy between everything that The Mummy 2 and Queen of the Damned couldn’t be, and the amazing effects that only a high-dollar studio like Wicked are capable of putting together. Take a look at the talent list and you’ll begin to see what I mean. I’m still not sure how I feel about Kaylani playing a Nubian princess in the tradition of Nefertiti, however, she does look damn hot in the trappings typical of a pharaoh’s queen and heavy blue eye shadow.
Randy Spears is the itinerant archaeologist whose mission it was to find and unwittingly resurrect the cursed queen, and when he does, immediately satisfy her millennium long cravings for sex. He acquits himself admirably, though he sacrifices his soul for the privilege, and his mortified assistant, fearing a second coming of evil over the land, escapes, lighting the fuse on a box of TNT on his way out, and sealing the tomb for a generation.
Jessica Drake is his father’s daughter in every way, working in the same department of antiquities and studying the same time period when a strange message arrives that they have found the tomb her father supposedly died in. The contents invariably find their way to her office, and she begins to examine the sarcophagus and its accompaniments, having to leave early. Chris Cannon, a lone security guard on his rounds, peeks in on the examination room, and finds himself surreptitiously set upon by the salacious succubus. Now revived after having taken his soul, she sets out in search of her eternal love.
But, little does she know that L.A. is a large city to be looking in, and there are far too many corners for a soul to be hiding in. No matter, all will submit to the desires of the queen, and Keri Sable is the first unsuspecting subject who falls victim to her thirst. Afterwards, Jessica Drake appears on the scene, having received a phone call from her coworker who happens to also be in the same venue, and she confronts the errant Egyptian at the bar. In an attempt to distract the interloper from obviously impeding her progress, Queen Nefkali turns the club into an orgy scene centered around her assailant.
The intermediary all-girl threesome between Tory Lane, Tiffany Taylor, and Alyssa Knight leads to a surprise ending that pits Eric Masterson against the two statuesque leading ladies. Lovers of Egyptology will likely have some issues with a bit of the research, though, it is presented in an intellectual format. The visual tone throughout is also very dark, most scenes either happening at night, or in darkened venues, though, in such a storyline, that’s to be expected. CurseEternal
