Wicked Pictures and writer/director David Stanley have created the ultimate adult film love story: Crème Brulee. Sumptuous and heartbreaking Crème Brulee appeals to those with romantic spirits and the sexually charged loins.

Adult film phenom Jessica Drake stars as Emma, a photographer whose slumbering creative spirit has led to the end of her marriage to Larry played in a sweet cameo by Chris Cannon. Determined to live the life she has dreamed of Emma with Larry’s help has moved into a downtown California loft space apartment that is directly above a porn studio. The film opens with the two sitting on Emma’s bed preparing to say a final goodbye. Confused and yearning Larry is at emotional odds. Emma tries to get him to understand their new life paths by comparing herself to sweet decedent dessert crème brule and him to pretzels, both pleasant but not in the same league. Drake's Emma then bids her ex a final farewell by giving him one last blow job in the first of many sensual and mature sex scenes of the film.

Emma’s journey in creative self expression is tested by Beth-a lesbian model, who is slightly over dramatized by adult film actress Jassie. Beth introduces the sexually curious ingénue to the wonders of lesbianism much to Emma’s initial pleasure in a well crafted seduction scene. It is later when Beth wants an emotion connection that surpasses the platonic that Emma becomes distant and aloof. Emma it seems feels love and relationship are weights to her new creative freedom.

Spiraling in a creative downswing the ever emotional Emma takes her camera to the roof of her apartment building encountering the man that will change her life. Zoran, lovingly played with depth and compassion by prince among men Randy Spears, is a frustrated painter. Overcome by emotion, Emma runs from the roof back to her apartment. She later has a disagreement with Beth, in which the needy and clingy girl berates Emma. While leaving Emma’s apartment Beth gives her a package that contains a note and painting.

The gift is from Zoran and it prompts an impromptu visit from Emma. At his apartment the two get to know each other, Zoran explains that his loss of creativity was born from a broken relationship with a beautiful woman named Faith. We see the couple making love in a flashback that includes the first of three foot fetish scenes. After the history lesson, Zoran and Emma forge a friendship with Zoran mentoring Emma on life as an artist.

Over the weeks the couple engages in completely platonic fun. Zoran teaches our heroine how to fully enjoy life, from meditating, to the proper way to eat her favorite dessert crème brulee; he is the driving creative and emotional force in this reborn woman’s world.

Emma’s life takes a dramatic turn when she finds Beth in the downstairs porn studio filming a girl on girl scene with Alana Evans. Beth’s troubled soul has led her down the wrong path and Emma feels it is her duty to save her. With Zorans help Emma gets Beth out of porn and the women work on their friendship. Zoran in his final mentoring action invites two porn actors (gleefully played by the animalistic sex-having couple Tony Tedeschi and Courtney Simpson) to Emma’s apartment for filming. After her initial shock subsides Emma embarks on her first photographic feat. Upon the completion of the photo shoot Zoran informs Emma that their mentoring session is over and sends her on her creative way much to their chagrin.

Emma and Zoran separate for weeks and reunite on the roof top where she informs him of her monogamous sexual relationship and mentoring of emotionally deprived Beth. Though each are at a creative high, they are void and sullen. Apparently while developing their friendship, the couple has truly fallen in love.

After much soul searching Emma confronts Zoran with her feelings and the two make love in a beautiful scene. Their love making is ripe and energetic without being manic and immature. Jessica Drake and Randy Spears are perfectly matched and their chemistry leaps off the screen. They use years of adult movie experience to build momentum. When Spears crescendos it is a beautiful life affirming moment for the characters, and actors as well.

If you need a final bite of this sumptuous desert titled film check out the behind the scenes footage. David Stanley the driving force behind the film walks the viewer through the filming process and you spend more time with the electric cast. The bonus scene with Jessica Drake is like a fine after dinner port. From the colorful and well crafted sets to the pitch perfect acting of Randy Spears and Jessica Drake, this movie is award worthy. Touching and forth right Crème Brulee will tug on the heart strings; it, like Zoran's paintings, is an inspired work of art.
