Cock Starved sounds like every able-bodied male's ideal scenario for an encounter; in this case a heterosexual encounter, but is in reality a 2+-hour collection of segments dedicated to women getting what satisfaction they need. In Dana Vespoli’s directorial debut she explores the male/female sexual kink from the woman’s side of the bedroom. A pleasantly welcome change to the normal, alpha male style, which most videographers take when creating a film.
Perhaps the most extreme case come as the second segment on the disc. The scene opens on Mark Wood as he awakes to find himself bound and gagged in a strange bed surrounded by stuffed animals. Kaylynn clad in a pretty babydoll type outfit complete with white, thigh-high socks and sensible black heels then proceeds to tease Mark with the help of a cowboy puppet, with threats and a little duct tape play. After untying mark and making sure he knows exactly what will happen if he doesn’t cooperate. Once Mark is untied the scene moves into a pleasantly insane segment of self satisfying male domination by Kaylynn. Mark then takes this opportunity to prove himself a most capable and pliable servant while Kaylynn pulls no punches in getting what she wants out of our man Mark. Once satisfied, Kaylynn gives a very worked over but altogether satisfied Mark the boot. It is at this point that we find out that it’s Officer Mark Wood.
The next segment, however, was probably the most stimulating( mentally) of all the segments and has our director -Dana Vespoli,- a self proclaimed sub, on all fours with a butt-plug-tail giving us an intense(and silent) kitten like POV with temporary camera man Manuel Ferrara. The scene opens with Dana crawling around the house, like a cat or other perhaps more exotic domesticated pet would, being attracted hailed by our camera man to an ensuing sub role; where Dana proves herself to be the cutest little thing ever: ”To be kind of be coveted and treated like a little animal.”
What was interesting about this part as explained by Dana herself, is that it is an exploration of the idea of a “domination submission relationship where the woman is treated like a little pet.” The use of the POV style is pivotal here in getting this point accross; allowing for the male or Dom role to express its covetus feelings toward the sub, something I feel would get lost or mucked up in other formats.
My favorite, however, is the next segment. We open to another Dana POV interview style happening upon sexy coed Penny Flame who has been trying incessantly and without success, to bring herself to orgasm. Dana, being as sympathetic to a woman’s sexual needs as she is, offers to let Penny try out the strap on that Dana convieniently has on. After this proves to be less than effective the camera(and task) turns on James Deen, asleep, stoned; amidst a littering of snacks which is more than enough of an indicator of James’ apathy. It isn’t long though, until Dana and Penny have James up and pleasing Penny like a good partner should. Now aside from the claims of multiple orgasms or wonderful BJ by Penny this segment stuck out as my favorite because the whole piece from opening shot to money shot(approx. 25 min) was shot in one take; an attribute which gave this piece a sensual and real quality not found in many videos.
Everything up until this point has given the video a five, but alas, perfection proves itself to be yet again unattainable as the last segment breaks a flawless string of sexual exploration. Maybe she owed someone a favor or perhaps she got her files mixed up; whatever the problem, the final segment proved to be the bland run of the mill segment that did not belong. Standing on its own, the segment is still a solid biracial threesome clip containing heavy coed and alpha male DOM influences. Starting with a short interview of the busty blond coed lacrosse star Haley Scott by Dana about Haley’s desire for black cock; then moves on to a very normal two on one scene with all of the pig roasting servicing and swapping of your average casting couch type video.
Perhaps being my mother's (straight) son has a hand in my feelings toward male dominated fantasies, perhaps the sexual zeitgeist is changing, maybe your humble reviewer is a woman trapped in a man's body trapped in front of his DVD player; whatever the reason I can’t help but think that this is the beginning of some new movements in the adult film industry. All that being said the DVD still blew me away sexually. CockStarved
