Bullets and Burlesque is a story of passion, betrayal, jealousy and of course fucking. It is the story of a man by the name of Stagger Lee, the notorious manager of a Missouri house of burlesque. The story of a man so ruthless and loved he drives a family apart as he seduces miss Lilly Lyons and shoots her husband Billy while attempting to restore his honor and save his family. From dirty priests to filthy romps, it’s a must-have for the porn aficionado and burlesque enthusiast alike.

Set in 1895 Missouri, the film is shot in a style that I can only describe as old west saloon meets punk burlesque and is shot almost as a stage performance with placards between scenes and a mohawkette on roller skates in charge of the applause cards.  

From beginning to end, the sex scenes are all phenomenal and well done from Sasha Grey and her onscreen beau Marcos Leon (number two on my favorites list) to Zak Sabbath’s “French-style” photo shoot to the final scene with Tyler Knight having a threesome with his hangwoman and angel of death, this video is an amazing triumph in both storytelling and style, not to mention a professional and well-done entry adult film.

My favorite scene, as I mentioned above, is the very first: a slow and steamy bed romp by Grey and Leon. Silent and sensual, both actors show their ability to have very believable intimate sex, just dirty enough for me to keep it from labeling it a love scene.

My favorite of all is hands down the threesome of Sabbath Grey and Satine Phoenix.  This scene actually starts out as a photo shoot of just Sabbath and Phoenix for their boss, until Grey shows up and ends up showing off for the camera herself to pay off a debt. The three do a thorough job of getting through the classic positions, with lots of girl on girl and cock-swapping until Sabbath ends the scene by cumming on Satine’s backside, a recurring theme with him. Fan of the old facial? Fret not, my friend, for this time it's Sabbath’s turn. No, it's not what you think. For after the sex, who should arrive but Leon to avenge the honor of his beloved? Finally, after too many heated words, Staggor Lee is fed up and guns down Leone in classic old west fashion and sends a mist of blood all over Sabbath who at the moment was pulling off his flask.

I'm giving this film a full five score for an outstanding cast and story not to mention the fantastic set that would set this far above any L.E.S. or Coney Island production.
