Blue Blake has finally gotten it right. After Duke Miller’s Lumberjack Gangbang, I was ready to call it quits for the product he produces. Bouncer has a cast that connects and aside from one major blunder which I’ll get to, my faith in Blue Blake has been restored.
This film belongs to Jake Gianelli and that’s mostly due to Blake’s loving camera work. I fell in lust with Gianelli just watching him sleep on crisp white sheets in the film’s opening, one huge meaty arm bent behind his head exposing a beautiful pit. He’s sharing his bed with an attractive woman; she fondles him while he is dozing. The phone rings, she takes off and Gianelli starts digging underneath the bed. You can’t help noticing his gargantuan thighs as he stretches across the bed; they are that impressive.
The plot for Bouncer unfolds slowly, which is a welcome change. The box under the bed contains something that looks like steroids, a neat wad of $100 dollar bills and a FedEx envelope with a VHS tape. The tape turns out to be nothing more than a “muscle posing” video of model Gage Blake which Gianelli halfheartedly masturbates to.
His stroke session is interrupted by a phone call. Gianelli tells the caller that he has received a “shipment” and sets up a rendezvous at the gym. Leaving the wad of cash on the armchair, he heads to the shower. Outside, two foreign gardeners (Ben Campezi & Viktor Perseo) are hosing the lawn and spy the cash through an open window. They end up inside and what happens between them is unclear (as is often the case in porn films using foreign models), but Perseo waves the cash a bit and Campezi whips out his cock for sucking. While getting head, Campezi showers Perseo with the cash-- very Indecent Proposal. Both have magnificent and large body-builder frames; this seems to be a prerequisite for a role in any of Blake’s films.
The action between them is fairly standard, but it is filmed very well with a nice focus on tight balls, tan skin and attractive faces. Perseo rims then tops Campezi, all the while keeping one eye on the bathroom where Gianelli is taking a very long shower. Both men manage to get off and get out before Gianelli is finished soaping up his dong.
Later, Gianelli hops in his SUV and rings Blake’s new discovery, Tony Cage, hoping to push some steroids. For fans of bodybuilders in porn, the shots of Cage doing biceps curls shirtless will put you over the top. Cage refuses Gianelli in his efforts to “get clean” and “go natural.” Apparently Gianelli’s voice sparks some memories of Gianelli showering at the gym and Cage has to whip it out and jerk it off. The solo scene that follows (with small transitions of Gianelli in the shower again, this time at the gym) made me hunger for more of Cage. Hopefully someone will use his talents in more aggressive ways.
Finally arriving at the gym, Gianelli confronts steroid patron Jim Slade, threatening for back cash owed. Slade begs off and Gianelli arranges a “hit” on him. Their confrontation had been interrupted by Jason Hawke who approaches Gianelli about steroids. Gianelli wants head for payment. Hawk blows him under force, protesting all the while that he is “straight.” This is the first time we are seeing Gianelli’s stubby, steamy cock hard. He kisses, sucks, rims then fucks Hawke on a locker room bench. This scene has some hot verbal interchange and some aggressive grinding between the two models. Hawke does indeed get his steroids.
We transition back to Jim Slade who is hijacked by bald Australian Tony Valentino. If this is what a “hit” is like, sign me up. Slade is forced to blow Valentino on the back of his Humvee and then spread his legs to get plowed. The scene gives a new meaning to tailgating. This would easily qualify as the hottest scene in the film if it weren’t for the homophobic insults Valentino throws at Slade as he services. But I’ll save the politics for another column. Suffice to say, watching someone being called “faggot” in a violent way can be a dick-shrinker.
Valentino ultimately delivers the hottest cumshot I’ve seen in gay porn in a long time, which Slade takes in his mouth, on the chin and over the chest. Long, salty ropes of hot cum just hang from Slade's open-mouthed mug. This is where the viewer is likely to blow his load. Thank goodness for the return of oral cumshots!
We finally see Gianelli working as a bouncer – remember the title? - as he throws Blue Blake, our fearless director and former porn star, out of a club. We then transition oddly to Gianelli fantasizing about rimming Viktor Perseo (the gardener from the top of the film). They are joined by Ben Campezi for a hot muscle threeway. The best segment here is Gianelli rimming both Campezi and Perseo as they kneel side by side, then swapping off, fucking each of them in turn. The three finish lying side by side by side jacking off until they blow their loads.
A final phone call which we hear on Gianelli’s answering machine reveals the final plot twist which I’ll leave for the viewer to discover. The DVD has a wonderful “mini-film” of behind the scenes action made during the filming. All in all, Bouncer is a well-made film and DVD which puts muscle to the top of the list for camera work. The film runs well over 2 hours with the bonus footage so the value is there for your purchase. Bouncer Keep it up Blue!
