From the cover, it's hard to judge what Behind the Scenes with Jenna Jameson will be like. The box seems like it would interest porn collectors; it features in-depth interviews with the hottest stars of today. That said, the movie is filled with odds and ends of video footage that would most likely interest fanboys and fangirls. However, even that small niche audience of collectors will probably be disappointed by the lack of informative and gripping tidbits the video has to offer.
Some of the compiled footage appears to be behind the scenes of photo shoots and live tapings where big-name pornstars pose provocatively in lingerie and heels. The photo-shoot footage is sexy, hot and glamorous to look at, but it's no different to the behind-the-scenes photo footage that comes as a free special feature with other porn movies.
Likewise, the interviews don't seem so special either. The interviews are more of "small talk" sessions with big names in porn, and they don't give much interesting information on the girls. In one interview, Briana Banks sits on a couch with a friend and talks a bit, but it looks like any other behind-the-scenes footage from a porn taping.
Jenna Jameson's interview looks more formal and particular to this video, as she is intimately posed by herself on a bed. She looks classy with perfect makeup in a mature-looking dress paired with high heels. Instead of sharing interesting insight from being the porn industry’s number one leading lady, she uses the platform to plug in her new label, Club Jenna. Her featured interview doesn't turn out to be much of anything at all.
Overall, that's the misleading feeling of this behind-the-scenes compilation; nothing really eventful ever happens. Plus, the video doesn't have any special features, and there's advertising throughout the entire video. With all of the live photo-shoot footage, it would have been easy to compile a hot n' horny photo gallery.
If not a diehard fan of the performers, it's hard to understand why someone would spend money to see this movie. All types of footage this movie includes come free in the special features of any big studio feature production. Nowadays, porn features come with behind the scenes for free, so why buy the entire tape? BehindtheLenswithJennaJameson
