I have a fondness for compilations. I used to always check them out instead of the feature titles, mainly because they’re much cheaper and you always got to see more action packed in a four, six, or sometimes an eight-hour tape.
One of the best at producing quality compilations was Video Team’s Afro-Centric line. I can still remember watching the big-name black adult stars of the day on those tapes, so I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed with 101 Black Beauties.
This compilation literally features 101 scenes of hot black-on-black sex, and whether it’s lesbian, orgy, DP, or straight, it's all here. The majority of the clips feature many of today’s top black performers and some up and comers from various Video Team features.
There’s also a couple of old school chicks on here, but sadly, the DVD neglects to include some of original black stars of porn who really opened the doors; Janet Jacme, Dominique Simone, Toi, Nyrobi Knight, Kira, and Persia are not included anywhere in this two-disc, six hour flesh fest. But I was happy to see Dee, Obsession, Lil’ Ass, Vanessa Blue, Kitten, India and Midori, so it was a good representation of new and old school.
With any compilation, there will always be a few scenes totally worth skipping, and there were more than a few I had to skip through. It literally took me two mornings to watch both discs, but you always expect compilations to be long. This was not an ordeal; in fact, I enjoyed the bulk of this compilation.
The scenes are short, they flow nicely between one another, each scene begins at the height of the action, and the babes are gorgeous. There’s also plenty of lesbian action. I have to admit, the stars of today are way better looking than some of the old school stars. And since it’s from Video Team, you can always expect good production value and perhaps even share this viewing experience with your significant other.
The extras are worth taking a look at but it’s really the compilation you’ll want to get to, especially if you’re running low on time. Regardless of if you love black porn or are just a casual viewer, 101 Black Beauties is a satisfying feast for your eyes. 101BlackBeauties
